When in Klaipeda, you should definitely see how this bridge is being turned! To turn it , two people are needed, and , yes, its turned by man not mechanically.

If you see the black ghost you will cross this bridge. It has character and apparently still operates (opens up to allow boats through). Nice because it has some charm and character
