Neat idea, but not worth travelling to see. It's a fun thing to drive past, that makes you go "oh, look at that", but then you move in..

It's just an "artwork"

You see it while driving past...no need to stop and have a look. It's just a leftover artwork from the Documenta that happens every 4 years in Kassel!

Something Different

Very cool permanent Art Piece - Right outside the train station, definitely a worthwhile photo Opportunity.

Just in front of the train station

Very interesting. This is about all there is to it. We didn't walk over to it. We just saw it from a distance but that is about it.

Trace of documenta IX

Take a look on it when roaming near Kassel's old train station. It's one of the traces left in the city by documents, 9th edition in particular. Made in 1992 by US artist Jonathan Borofsky.
