Closed as stated by other reviews.
The caves seem to have been closed for a while. The road leading upto is not maintained with evidence of land slides. Google maps incorrectly shows this as open.

Cave is closed
The cave is closed for technical reasons and no one knows when it will be reopened again, but the information center is still open. It was nice to learn about the findings from the cave.
