What a wonderful way to break up a trip from Hikone to Niigata. We walked from the parking area up to the temple on top, beautiful views, even though it was windy and cold.

海に浮かぶフォッサマグナ

能生のマリンドリームに寄ったところ、ここの案内がありました。 そこで、国道8号を西に行くと、日本海に大きな岩が見えます。 道路に標識が無いので、気付かないと通り過ぎてしまいます。 この岩もフォッサマグナに関係があるそうです。 橋（曙橋）がかかっており、渡って行けます。 岩場なので足元に注意が必要ですが、神社や展望台（灯台）まで昇って行けます。往路と復路は別々です。
