it was too cold for us to test the water but it sure looked like it would be fun in the summertime. Very clean too

There is a riverwalk along the river that takes you to Downtown Glen Rose and also the Big Rocks Park.
Small Town Texas
We experienced the river at Dinosaur Valley State Park and also on a walk through Glen Rose. We can see why Comanche liked this area and why it attracted the early settlers.
The river walk is lovely
