立派な五重塔

妙成寺は日蓮宗の本山で１２９４年の開山とのことです。10棟が国の重要文化財に指定されていて加賀藩ゆかりの名刹です。特に五重塔は立派でした。 また45年ほど前に浩宮殿下が植樹された若松もありました。赤く色づいた紅葉とのコントラストが印象的でした。

能登にある歴史のある立派なお寺

北陸道の尼御前SAで観光地を見ていると五重塔のあるこのお寺と気多神社が気になったので訪れました。広い駐車場があります。参拝料500円を払い、境内に入っていくと仁王門があり、左手には経堂、正面には立派な五重塔があります。この五重塔は同時期に建てられ、焼失した日光東照宮の五重塔とほぼ同じなそうです。扉の透かし彫りも美しいです。丈六堂には５メートルほどの大きな金色の仏像が安置されています。江戸初期に建て...
