Went to be entertained, not indoctrinated.
We were long-time patrons of the FAC before it was taken over by Colorado College. Back in the day, the theatre performances were exceptional, the art exhibits were interesting and inspiring. We went to see ELF the Musical and the art exhibit Mi Gente, and both really were pushing the liberal agenda. This, in a pretty conservative community. It's just sad. They've lost most of their theatre patrons and sponsors. We will not be returning. We went to be entertained, not indoctrinated.

Decent foundation - extras help
This is a reasonably nice facility with a permanent collection that isn't overly impressive, but probably appropriate to a medium city like Colorado Springs. However, they do get some traveling exhibits that can really enhance the experience, so it's worth going at different times if you're in the area multiple times after the traveling exhibits have changed.
