Great Views
We hiked and picnicked on the mountain. I like it because there is no poison oak up there and my dog can run free.
Beautiful hike and views
This is the most beautiful hike in the Ashland area! We drove halfway up from the ski lodge, then walked the final 2 miles. The mountain is made of granite, and the views of Mt Shasta from the Summit ...
A nice hike
We did a nice hike with our grandson- 12. We started at Grouse Gap and went to Siskiyou Peak- about 41/2 miles with under 1000 ft of elevation gain. A good time was had by all- still lots of flowers...
Wondrous at almost any time of year
Mt Ashland is best known for its skiing, but we love it for walking. It's especially wonderful in spring and early summer, when wildflowers plaster the slopes and meadows on the approach to the summit...
