Now Closed to the Public
This is a great little ride but unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances the railway is now closed to the public and will remain this way for the foreseeable future.

Not running at present.
At present the train is not running due to staff taken seriously ill and lost over over the covid period. The heart has been taken out of what was left of the volunteers thanks to the little darlings ...

Great fun
Very cheap little 5 minute ride, but great fun... run by volunteers. You can even drive it yourself with some training ... I think for a fiver.

Reasonably priced for a coupe of hours interest
We stopped here to pass a few hours on our way to a holiday. Small play area and plea to of room to picnic but not much to interest small children.

Excellent short trip on the narrow gauge railway followed by a walk around the Lake. Wood horn Museum on site so this gives a good eye on the area especially its mining background. The area was also ...
