We had a fantastic 10 nights at the Panorama Creta Mare. The staff are undoubtedly the reason for most people returning. Each and every member of staff goes out of their way to make your holidays special, from the entertainment staff, bar and restaurant staff, cleaners and reception staff, all are a credit to the hotel. I could mention names but I'd forget someone. Big shout out to all. Kudos too to all the hotel guests, everyone was super friendly and joined in. Our room was not far from the reception desk. Clean and spacious for two. Nice shower and decent air conditioning. Cleaners did a great job every day. You definitely won't go hungry at the Creta. Food is plentiful and available from the moment you wake up until time for bed. There was always something we liked on offer. The bar areas were great. Comfortable and welcoming. Staff were attentive and once they knew my drink, I was greeted every time with an open bottle of my preferred bottle of beer. There are lots of pools. We spent most time at the two smaller ones at either end of the complex where two lovely ladies, Maria and Georgia, ran their bars with enthusiasm and a friendly hello. One pool was very salty so goggles are a must. The man made lagoons are beautiful spots for a swim, definitely take a snorkel but also swim shoes. A small cafe bar, Star Cafe, is located above one of the lagoons where lovely food and drink can be enjoyed. We did the bus trips to Ponormos and Rethymon where some lovely bars and restaurants can be found. Great weather and lovely people meant we have had a wonderful time and although not ones for returning to the same hotel, we definitely would in this case.....

Home from 10 nights, wish we’d booked 14. Family of 4, Mum, Dad, daughter 18, son 15 & daughters boyfriend 19. Booked 2 rooms with garden view. Arrival Greeted with fizz & flowers, warm welcome & buggy to rooms Rooms Garden view for the 2 rooms not the best view as allocated facing the back however we are not in our rooms for long just to get ready and sleep so chose not to complain that we did not have a view as booked, in hindsight we should have done! Minibar in room however they knock on to ask if wish to be restocked so not ideal if not in the room. Water bottles should be re stocked every day. Pools You have a choice of about 3 we preferred getting involved with activities with the animation team as they are so lovely to be around so stayed around the main pool. We spent some time on the first day around the pool down the steps to the cove and if you walked further down there was a bar with gorgeous views. Coves Beautiful sheltered coves with stunning fish however take beach shoes as gravel sand and rocks in water make it very uncomfortable to walk on. We wish sand was imported! Sunsets are just so beautiful. Gardens and grounds immaculate however smell on last few days when the sprinkler is on which has a slight smell of manure. Cleaners work so hard, don’t know how you do it in this heat. Rooms cleaned and towels replenished. Thank you for all your hard work. Drinks Main brands Bombay sapphire Gordon’s etc so great value on drinks. Food Main restaurant Huge choice and all 5 enjoyed. I’m slightly more difficult as dairy and lactose intolerant and careful with gluten. The chef ordered my preferred lactose free yoghurt in for my breakfast and showed me all dishes that I could eat, they went over and above you just need to make them aware. Theme nights need to be more visual with signs. Mediterranean The waiter was so lovely who served us a special cake for our anniversary. I very much enjoyed this evening however the greeting was a little uncomfortable as told couldn’t dine as trousers only, when looked at other guests dining, men were in shorts and flip flops! After pointing this out and advising we were dressed smarter we were put outside in the corner, wasn’t the nicest of impressions from your greeting and felt you had put us out of the way, so work on improving your greeting! Although I very much enjoyed the evening the rest of the family found the service took too long, 3 hours in total. Sunbeds I think for once they have it right here, unlike other places we have stayed. Well done to the guy whose job it was, sorry I do not know your name, not a pleasant task for you. Basically between 7.30am-10am if you want a bed great, no problem but you need to stay on it. If you reserve and leave the towels on they are taken off and placed to the side, you can reserve one for yourself and one more as long as stay on the beds. That is much fairer than going to get a bed and all have towels on reserved with barel

Scrivo ora la mia recensione e non come di consueto a fine soggiorno, nella speranza che la direzione dell’hotel ponga rimedio ad alcune gravi lacune riscontrate già nel primo giorno di permanenza in questo hotel, così da evitare altri disagi per il proseguo del mio soggiorno, e perché questa recensione possa aiutare atri potenziali ospiti nella scelta. Comincerò col dire che la spiaggia non è adiacente l’hotel, come sembrerebbe dallee descrizioni e dalle foto sui diversi portali e sul sito dell’hotel, ma in altra struttura il Royal Blu Resort, distante dalla struttura circa 300 - 400 metri da questa struttura e raggiungibile a piedi in 5 minuti o con navetta disponibile ogni 30 minuti (premetto che non ho ancora appurato queste informazioni indicatemi all’arrivo dagli addetti all’accoglienza, perché per l’appunto sono arrivato in hotel solo ieri pomeriggio. L’accoglienza in hotel è molto curata, il personale che ha accolto mia moglie e me è stato davvero gentile e premuroso offrendoci all’arrivo tutte le informazioni necessarie per il soggiorno, un drink di benvenuto e un panno fresco per rinfrescarci dal viaggio. Detto questo è stato subito evidente il primo disservizio: tutto il personale parla esclusivamente inglese lingua che noi non parliamo; prima di confermare la prenotazione tramite Secret Escape, avevo espressamente indicato all’hotel la mia difficoltà con l’inglese, specificando che sia io che mia moglie parliamo italiano e francese, e nella mail mi è stato assicurato che pressoché tutto il personale dell’hotel parlava correntemente anche francese; invece ho appurato in loco che solo un gentilissimo addetto all’accoglienza parla francese, e nessun altro. Questo disservizio ci renderà più complicato il soggiorno ma poteva senz’altro essere tollerato, e superato dall’accuratezza dei servizi offerti. Niente di male ci saremmo adattati. L’Hotel è di recente costruzione e molto ben rifinito, le strutture comuni e la reception sono ben curate ed il personale dell’accoglienza è preparato e molto disponibile e gentile; così come il ragazzo che ci ha accompagnato in camera. La camera è spaziosa ed il bagno a vista è ben rifinito con un ampio lavabo doppio, una bella doccia ed il wc, ma senza bidet… (cosa che sarebbe meglio segnalare). La piscina esterna privata è confortevole ed appartata, munita di patio privato, con bella vista mare (e strada statale antistante). Mi aspettavo, come da prenotazione, di trovare in camere una bottiglia di vino, ma non c’era… (secondo disservizio) Terzo grave problema: entrati in camera e depositati i bagagli, ho subito notato lunghi capelli neri sparsi per tutta la camera e sul terrazzo della piscina, segno che la camera non era stata adeguatamente pulite né igienizzata, una pecca gravissima per una struttura 5 stelle. Ho immediatamente cercato di avvisare la reception, ma al telefono in camera non funzionava (quarto disservizio), quindi mi sono recato direttamente all’accoglienza ed ho esposto il problema all’u

Un paradiso Minoan su una porta! Il mio studio era molto confortevole e piacevole di rimanere a. Ma la mia parte preferita era una super vicinanza al mare. La baia di Evita è benedetto con acque cristalline chiare e pesci curiosi che arrivano vicino alla costa. E questo è il posto migliore per la vista al sole. La posizione è molto tranquilla di notte rispetto al resto del villaggio, si può dormire al suono delle onde. Perfetto se si sta cercando un ritiro tranquillo della natura.

On our arrival, we were asked for our passports, to realise, we had lost them!! As you can imagine, panic and worry set in 🙈 the lady on reception (I think her name was Eva) was so reassuring and told us not to worry, and that she would phone the transfer company to try and locate them for us, and for us to just enjoy our vacation. Within a few hours, she had arranged for the transfer company to deliver them back to the hotel. Such a relief - thank you Eva for saving our holiday 😊 So, now I've got the stressful part out the way, let's get down to this wonderful hotel. The hotel is clean, modern and peaceful 😌 everything is quite basic, but has all you need for a relaxing holiday! The location of this hotel is nothing short of incredible 😍 Bali is absolutely stunning, and this hotel is located on the beach front of a beautiful beach, with crystal clear warm waters 😍 so warm, that me and the husband (and a few others) had late night swims (I'm talking after 10pm and still warm!), and so clear that you can see all the fish 🐠 There are a few lovely tavernas/bars on the beach front and a little shop, so it has everything you need within a few hundred meters. If you do want to travel a little further, there is a little train type vehicle that takes you around to other beaches ect for 5€, we utilised this and visited every beach in the area, all of which were lovely. Breakfast was pretty basic, but enough there to choose from every morning (eggs, omelette, pancakes, cereal, fruit, breads ect) and it's set by the pool with a beautiful view 😌 All the staff we found really kind and helpful. I emailed the hotel prior to arrival, to explain that our stay was a suprise anniversary trip for my husband, and offered to pay for them to add some rose petals on the bed ect, but they kindly offered to do this for free, and they also gifted us with a bottle of wine and card, which I thought was really sweet. Honestly, I can't recommend this hotel and location enough 😍 we had the best time here and would a million percent return! If you are looking for a laid back, relaxing, picturesque holiday... look no further 😁

Questo è un incredibile ristorante in una bella posizione vicino al mare, offrendo una varietà di cibi a pranzo e snack tutto il giorno. Hanno molte attività sportive e acquatiche da intraprendere durante il giorno, così come molte località di nuoto. Tutti i lavoratori sono stati molto generosi durante il nostro soggiorno, soprattutto Eleni (scusate la scarsa ortografia) che ci ha servito molto bene durante i nostri pasti. Se vienete con la famiglia e i bambini o se vi lasciate in coppia, questo resort offre qualcosa per tutti!
