National Mall

国家广场就是一大片草地，中间那条石子路走起来咯吱响。纪念碑在远处戳着，林肯堂在另一头蹲着。跑者喘着气从身边过，小孩追着鸽子跑。找个长椅坐下啃三明治，风把面包屑吹走。隔几步就有个博物馆，红砖灰墙排一排，也没心思全逛完。太阳快落山时，草坪上坐满人，看着天色一点点暗下去。

Casa Bianca

白宫就是一大白房子，草坪绿得扎眼。铁栅栏外挤满拍照的，有导游举小旗嚷嚷，游客伸长脖子够着看。有个小孩骑在爸爸肩上，指着窗户说看见人了，其实啥也没有。绕着走半圈，后院那几棵大树看着比楼还老。路对面有个老头举个牌子站着，没人理他。待了十分钟，太阳晒得脖子疼，转身走了。回头望一眼，那楼安安静静蹲在草坪里，跟明信片上一样。

建于1800年的国会图书馆（The Library of Congress），是世界上藏书量最大的图书馆（藏品超过1.62亿件），它把“知识”两个字，用大理石、黄金、彩绘玻璃和最深沉的历史底蕴，雕琢成了一件震撼人心的艺术品。我被深深震撼到了，真是一场视觉的盛宴啊！
