Parzialmente limpido15° / 8°We stopped at Ananuri on the way along the Georgian Military Highway in July. The fortress sits right by the water with mountains behind it — a very picturesque spot. Inside there's an old church, and you can climb the towers for views over the reservoir. Entry is free. It gets crowded, especially during the day, but the grounds are large enough. Easy to combine with a trip to Kazbek — it's right on the way. I'd recommend making a stop.

Entry is free, you can walk along the shore and take photos at your own pace. It gets crowded during the day, but if you step aside a bit, you can find a quiet spot by the water. Easy to combine with a trip to Kazbek — it's right on the way. I'd recommend stopping for at least half an hour.

INTJ travellerThis was a big wow place for me. A huge monument with many sculptures about history of the ancient country. From the city center you can take a taxi to the place which will cost you around 15 lari. The entrance to the monument area is free.It’s located on the top of a hill and it also has a beautiful view to Tbilisi Sea. That’s how locals call the lake located on the northeast side of the city.

Pamelinait is definitely a must go place in Georgia, we drove Georgian Military Highway there, the view on the highway is spectacular, and then we reached kazbegi town, which is very lovely too. the church was like fifteen mins drive from the town. the view was unbelievable around the church
