I visited Wave Valley using the 'Round-trip Shuttle Bus to Wave Valley' option on the Trip.com app, as a found it difficult to find a shuttle from Yulin (IMPORTANT NOTE: The price quoted for this trip is leaving from Yan'an, buuuuuut when the tour company contacted me they told me they also had a car in Yulin, the price was just a bit higher). My driver arrived ten minutes prior to our departure time, abd the drive there and back was smooth and relaxed. Wave valley itself is larger than I thought, and so spent a happy three hours walking around and taking countless photos. The rock forms and colours are truly magnificent, and on my visit (August 14) there were some small wildflowers in bloom scattered about. The glass bridge costs extra and is interesting enough, but honestly I was more impressed with it after I was down on the valley floor and looking up at it - at that point I fully appreciated its incline and length. The cracking glass sound effect was scary at first, then fun.

我偏爱像本地人一样生活几天的旅行，找一个安静的小镇住下来，不逛景点只逛菜市场。早上去挑带着露水的青菜，中午坐在院子里晒着太阳做饭，下午沿着河堤慢慢散步，傍晚蹲在路边看摊主收摊。满街都是热烘烘的烟火气，把紧绷了好几个月的神经慢慢泡软，等回去的时候，整个人都透着松弛的劲儿，再忙都不觉得累。

旅行的惊喜，总藏在不期而遇里。本来只是躲雨，却进了一间满是老物件的杂货铺；本来只是转弯，却撞见一整片开得热烈的花田；本来只是问路，却被本地阿姨邀请去家里尝了手工点心。这些不在计划里的温柔，比攻略上推荐的景点更动人，一点点攒在心里，往后平淡日子想起来，都觉得暖乎乎的，能甜好久

靖边丹霞形成于9600万年以前，这里的沙丘不断浸渍地下水，一层层沉积下来，凝结成砂岩，又经地壳运动、流水与风力的自然雕琢，形成了各类线谷、巷谷、赤壁等波浪形丹霞地貌，这地貌吸引了国内外游人、拍客、媒体纷纷到此打卡、发声。

This is such a highly recommended activity. The tour was very well organized and had extremely good coordination. Pick up was punctual at the train station car park. Be sure to read the information in detail and to provide your WeChat QR to the service provider or via trip. The journey was uneventful, seamless and the views were simply stunning.

靖边的神树涧是一个非常有特色的自然景点，这里的柳树称作毛头柳也可以叫做汗流，他的顶端没有高大的树叉，只有很多分开的枝杈，这里有100多棵这样的树，树龄有着打到370年之久，到这里来就好像进了田园的风光之地，附近还有老玉米，土豆，西瓜很多农作物，让你在这里尽情享受大自然的美好。

- 陕西侧：可先前往新建的500米玻璃观景平台，之后去龙洞，近距离仰视瀑布，还能体验骑毛驴穿陕北服饰拍照。​- 山西侧：从观瀑桥平视主瀑布，感受瀑布的磅礴气势，还可体验黄河大合唱实景演出，沿着河边步道漫步，欣赏不同角度的瀑布景观。

To my fellow foreigners, the round trip shuttle bus service is highly recommended!!! They pick you up from your hotel and drop you off back. The driver was so kind and friendly, he even asked another local solo traveling passenger to lead me through the scenery and take care of me. I had a wonderful experience with them. Beautiful attraction, people and food! I want to thank the driver for his kindness again in this review 😊
