For an extra adventure, you can climb the hundreds of steps up the South Tower for a spectacular panoramic view of Cologne and the Rhine River. It is an absolute must-visit landmark that easily deserves a perfect rating!

This is an excellent place to take a stroll along the rhine River. This place us popular with locals as well and they are colourful buildings along the bank.

Admittedly, we had a bit of a hard time to find the place, as it is a building giving way into an inner courtyard... in which you cannot enter through said courtyard and entrance to the Observation deck section is a the back of the building, facing the train tracks.Indications were not very clear, to say the least.

We visited all of the Christmas markets in Cologne this year, with out favourites being. at Heumarkt and Neumarkt. All have their own character and identity and it is nice to visit them all over the weeks.

Phantasialand completely spoils you with its world-class, seamless themeing—it is easily a step above Movie Park Germany. Walking through areas like Klugheim or Deep in Africa feels like stepping straight onto a movie set, and the attention to detail is unmatched.Taron and F.L.Y. are absolute masterpieces of roller coaster engineering, offering incredible rushes. That said, if you are prone to motion sickness, be a bit careful: some of the high-intensity, twisting layouts (and immersive 3D/4D elements) can leave your head spinning and feel a bit dizzying after a while.With its incredible food, breathtaking atmosphere, and top-tier attractions, it easily earns a near-perfect score. Just bring some motion sickness mints if you have a sensitive stomach!
