Overall OK, good location, easy access & so many cafe nearby. Even the breakfast also so good like so many local foods that can try. Just one thing no iron inside the room & asking to send iron to room they just take note but not send the iron .

We booked 3 rooms for 3 nights. 2 rooms are OK but we are given 1 room at the ground floor which are facing parking lots without any view… We choose to stay at this hotel solely because we want to enjoy the scenery but 1 room was facing the wall, nothing to see except parked car🤦♂️

The location was very good. The hotel is quite clean, but the facilities are limited to basic necessities. The food was okay. The service of the staff is very good. I think overall it's worth the price.

Un hotel molto occupato ...o forse è successo che io ero li' in quei giorni?
Gli ascensori sono molto lento.
Le camere sono molto pulite.Anche se lo spazio nel bagno era molto piccolo e non riusciva a mettere i bagni in qualsiasi parte del bagno (nessun spazio/ tavolo sul bagno)

La posizione è eccellente, il buon gusto nel centro turistico di Surabaya, la vecchia città o ”Kota Lama”. Pulizia è saggio, le lastre sono l'unica cosa che ha bisogno di più pulizia. Il servizio è eccellente. E le strutture intelligenti, l'unica cosa mancante è un asciugacapelli.

I had an incredible experience at Bumi Surabaya City Resort, and I can't recommend this hotel enough! Nestled in a lush garden setting right in the heart of Surabaya,excellent service, and beautiful surroundings.
The spacious rooms offered stunning views of the city, providing a perfect blend of relaxation and luxury. I particularly enjoyed the rich breakfast buffet, featuring a delightful selection of both local and international dishes, all freshly prepared and delicious. Moreover, the hotel's facilities had a lovely swimming pool surrounded by greenery, two tennis courts, spa and massage ,perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring the city.
What truly stood out was the hospitality of the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and eager to ensure that my stay was enjoyable.
The atmosphere was relaxed, making it an ideal spot for both business and leisure travelers.
It’s my second stay at Bumi Surabaya and I look forward to returning in the future. If you're looking for a blend of comfort and charm in Surabaya, this is the place to be!

Had a pleasant stay with warm hospitality. The location is excellent. Just a short walk to the massive Tunjungan Mall. The room was simple and clean. The shower water pressure was a bit low, and the bathroom only had an overhead shower without a handheld option, which made it slightly less convenient. Still, overall it was a good experience.

valutato eccellente posizione servizio servizi pulizia ma pulizia da tenere d'occhio sulla quantità di articoli da toeletta come shampoo, balsamo e lozione - ha 2 set invece di 1 per coppia e contenuto completo piuttosto porzione. Istruzioni da visualizzare dove è nascosto il pannello luminoso.

Check-In and Reception:
The check-in process was smooth and efficient. Staff members at the front desk were welcoming, professional, and attentive. Despite arriving slightly earlier than the standard check-in time, the reception team made every effort to accommodate me promptly, setting a positive tone for the rest of my stay.
Room Quality:
I stayed in a beautifully appointed room featuring modern decor, plush furnishings, and floor-to-ceiling windows offering a stunning city view. The room was immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed for comfort, with Westin’s signature Heavenly® Bed ensuring restful sleep. Amenities such as a spacious work desk, fast Wi-Fi, and a well-stocked minibar added to the convenience.
Facilities:
The hotel’s facilities are top-notch. The gym was large, modern, and well-equipped, catering perfectly to guests who wish to maintain their fitness routines. I also enjoyed the serene outdoor swimming pool, a perfect retreat for relaxation. The Heavenly Spa offered a luxurious experience, with professional therapists and a calming ambiance that helped me unwind after a long day.

Dining at The Westin Surabaya was a highlight. The breakfast buffet at Magnolia Restaurant featured a vast selection of both local and international dishes, all beautifully presented and fresh. I also tried room service one evening, and the food arrived promptly, still warm, and well-prepared. The hotel’s attention to culinary detail truly enhanced the overall experience.

Throughout my stay, the service was consistently outstanding. Every staff member I interacted with — from housekeeping to concierge to restaurant servers — was genuinely friendly, attentive, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests’ satisfaction.
Location:
Situated adjacent to the upscale Pakuwon Mall, the location is highly convenient for shopping, dining, and entertainment. It’s also relatively close to the airport and key city attractions, making it an excellent base for both business and leisure travelers.

from the main lobby to the toilets, from the rooms to the animal pens - all super clean, a massive respite from mosquito-infested accomodations the few days prior.
the receptionists were all very friendly, well-versed in both bahasa indo and english; the driver kindly helped us find somewhere to buy feed for the animals and take photos at the entrance; the concierge was also very pro-active and the cleaners were constantly seen mopping.
and the facilities are undoubtedly one of a kind. the view from the balcony were of the animals happily skipping around, not like some other safari accommodations where the animals are either kept in too small fences or too far away. every store was well stocked with water dispensers of different temperatures. the animal feeding was also easy to purchase from the counter. only pity is that we were not aware that the breakfast with giraffe needed booking beforehand, but honestly you can feed the giraffes for cheaper at the Taman Safari Prigen safari adventure. breakfast for humans otherwise had a good spread, including some humorously named items. there is also a free and convenient shuttle service that takes you to and from baobab to the safari area, just have to ask the concierge.
overall 10/10 will visit again.

FFrederiko David MartanIl soggiorno a Shangri-La Surabaya è stato un'esperienza eccezionale dall'inizio al termine. Il servizio era caldo e professionale ogni membro del personale è andato sopra e oltre per assicurarci che ci sentissimo benvenuti e curati.
La stanza era spaziosa, pulita e elegantemente arredata con un perfetto equilibrio di comfort e lusso. La vista dalla stanza era anche un plus, offrendo un paesaggio tranquillo che si sentiva rilassante dopo un lungo giorno.
La colazione è stata un'enfasi, dalla varietà dei preferiti locali indonesiani ai piatti occidentali e asiatici.La zona della piscina e l'ambiente lussuoso giardino rendevano facile dimenticare che era in mezzo a una città occupata.
Localizzazione, è convenientemente vicino ai centri, ristoranti e strada principale, ma l'hotel stesso si sente come una fuga tranquilla.
Sicuramente consigliere Shangri-La Surabaya a chiunque cerca un'esperienza di cinque stelle con vera ospitalità.

CCiauciauHotel’s ambience is relaxing. Ocean is at the hotel’s backyard with huge greeneries, coconut trees, and simply beautiful.
Breakfast spread is not bad, the taste is so so. Swimming pool is infinity style and quite big. There is also gym in the hotel.
Room is small, bed is only 100 x 200 for twin. Separate toilet and shower room which size is in the smallish end. Balcony is quite big so you could sit down and enjoy reading. If you want to go with family, book enough room as there is no extra bed except in suites (sofa bed style).
As it is near the ocean, it could be windy.
You need car/transport to go around as it is not exactly in the city centre.
Good place to relax if you happen to be in East Java.

UUtente anonimohotel economico ed essenziale a Malang. sfortunatamente sembra che sia scoppiato un tubo e il soffitto della mia stanza ha iniziato a perdere acqua alle 2 del mattino. la reception ha inviato qualcuno per ripararlo, ma il problema è stato risolto solo per circa 3 minuti prima che iniziasse di nuovo a perdere. erano le 3 del mattino quindi dormivo a malapena. l'hotel non ha offerto cambio di camera o alcun tipo di risarcimento.

First night due to my flight delay I check in around 10pm and I get a last room ( in front of the room is emergency exit ) very bad feeling when I step in the room, I feel “something” inside . Request to change but reception inform full house. Midnight my room keep got water sound , flush water sound !
Second morning I request to change room , 8pm finish work bck to hotel told me full ? I’m like ***? I requested to change in the early morning. One round of battle , I manage to change room , the boy told he help me take my luggage from old room, after 10 min , luggage that they sent to me is not belong to me!!!! Where is my baggage? After half an hour, my baggage is back to my room and they told me found it at the other room ??!! I got so many question mark in my mind . 11pm , a boy keep knock my dooor and call Ibu ibu……in the morning , housekeeping come in without knocking the door at 928am ! Thanks god that moment I’m done changing !
Third night : this is the worst night for me. Been awake by toilet water sound again ! But this time is different , I feel something not right and I’m so scared. I try to ignore , but I feel “someone” sit on the other side of my bed and I feel my blanket is grasp firmly to the left side（I slept at right side ) ! The following is 447 am someone knock my door again !
I on my light and dare not to sleep anymore !
Fourth night : no story as I only back to hotel at 2am , I leave at 6am to airport
Hotel location is really good , breakfast nice too .
