Exceptional Stay at Chalet Hotel in Chamonix! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Chalet Hotel in Chamonix, and I can confidently say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in the Alps! From the moment I arrived, the warm and attentive staff made me feel welcome and ensured that every detail of my stay was perfect. Location: The hotel is ideally situated with stunning views of Mont Blanc and easy access to the town and ski lifts. Whether you’re there for skiing, hiking, or simply soaking in the beauty of the mountains, the location couldn’t be better. Rooms: My room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and featured a cozy alpine style with modern amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the balcony offered breathtaking views of the surrounding peaks. The housekeeping staff kept everything spotless, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Dining: The food was fantastic! Breakfast each morning was a generous spread with a variety of fresh options, from pastries to local cheeses and fruits. I also had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and the gourmet meals exceeded my expectations. The chef does an excellent job incorporating local ingredients into traditional dishes, all with a contemporary twist. Facilities: The hotel spa is a hidden gem—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring or skiing. The sauna and hot tub were wonderful, and the massage I had was the best I’ve had in a long time. They also have a great lounge area with a fireplace, perfect for unwinding with a book or enjoying a drink in the evening. Service: The staff were incredibly attentive and always ready to assist with any request, whether it was booking excursions, providing local recommendations, or simply ensuring that everything ran smoothly during my stay. Bonus tip: The best Indian restaurant is walkable distance (400 meters) from the hotel - Annapurna 2. Must visit 😉 Overall, Chalet Hotel in Chamonix combines luxurious comfort with the charm of an authentic alpine retreat. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect mix of relaxation, adventure, and top-notch service. I can’t wait to return!

Questo hotel si trova vicino all’autoroute du soleil, per questo abbiamo scelto il nostro percorso a sud. In fondo: si trova in una zona molto industriale, con una fabbrica enorme accanto a essa. Non c'è frigorifero nella stanza. Pagate 100 EUR in media/notte per una camera doppia che è piuttosto eccessiva se mi chiedete, ma è solo il prezzo che pagate per una camera pulita nelle città francesi. Inoltre: personale amichevole, parcheggio sicuro, colazione decente, camera pulita. In soli 5 minuti di auto si può raggiungere l'autostrada di nuovo e continuare il viaggio. Le camere sono tranquille. Abbiamo avuto un problema al check-out perché Trip.com aveva fornito informazioni errate all'hotel (ho pagato per una stanza con colazione a Trip.com e l'hotel non poteva vedere lo stesso sul loro sistema di prenotazione, quindi pensavano che non avessi pagato per colazione. ) E'la prima volta che ho prenotato una stanza via Trip.com. Mi ci ha voluto un po' per scoprire come potevo parlare con il servizio clienti. Dopo 5 minuti di chat con il servizio clienti, ho ricevuto uno dei loro assistenti al telefono che mi ha parlato prima, poi al personale dell'hotel e dopo la conversazione, trip.com mi ha chiesto di pagare l'hotel per il mio colazione ancora una volta e ha detto che mi rimborsero il colazione, eppure lo facevano. Ma in tutto abbiamo quasi perso un'ora di tempo di vacanza prezioso a causa di questo problema, che è per questo che sono molto riluttante ad usare trip.com per una seconda volta. Non ho mai avuto questo tipo di problemi con booking.com o hotels.com.

Pullman Lyon is a relatively new hotel. Had a great stay and I had a train to catch on Jan 1 2025 morning, Lyon Part Dieu station to Paris is literally 1 min walk! So very convenient if you don’t want to be late for your onward journey. I got to Pullman from another hotel on an Uber, and there were still constructions and a pro tip to to take Taxi rather than Uber if you’ve luggages because Ubers aren’t allowed into the hotel zone. It’s only for bus and taxis. I wish Pullman had large signage’s to get to their hotel because the entrance is being blocked by the construction. The hotel should have a big Pullman on thier building on all sides like the Radisson Blu nearby it so that people can easily spot it. The front desk Marie was lovely! All those at reception and concierge spoke great English and were very helpful in helping me call for a taxi and giving me ideas on where to go for dinner on 31 Dec as I had not made any reservations. The hotel room is big and roomy, with lots of space for luggages. I got a room for handicap access so the shower and toilet areas were joined tgt. The rain shower was great in keeping the floor dry. I’ll def choose this hotel in future visits if I have an early train to catch in Lyon. It’s in good distance to Westfield shopping mall and it’s a mega big mall with heaps of shopping, dining, supermarket options!

Posizione eccellente e colazione all'altezza . Garage disponibile e accessibile. Facile visitare Lione a piedi partendo dall'hotel. Ristoranti vicini. Alla sera nelle vicinanze non proprio il massimo della frequentazione. Un po di attenzione.

J'ai réservé pour mon compagnon qui était en déplacement pro. De quoi se reposer après sa longue route et arriver frais pour la participation à son concours du lendemain. Loupé... Situé dans ”un quartier qui craint”. Et pas de caméra de surveillance dans le parking de l'hôtel. Le personnel a été honnête, - préférable de ne rien laisser dans la voiture. Résultat : il n'a dormi que 4h. Sinon niveau installations : RAS.

L'hotel si affaccia sul lago di Annecy. Alla sua porta d'ingresso, sembra che siamo molto nel profondo della foresta e tuttavia eravamo a malapena a 10 minuti di distanza dalla città. Il personale è molto dolce e professionale. Stiamo viaggiando con il nostro bambino di 1 anno che ha ricevuto attenzioni da parte del team a colazione. Sentire che la famiglia del foro è inclusa non ha prezzo. Queste 2 notti sono state accolte di riposo e relax. Grazie a tutti i membri dello staff che hanno reso questo gateway piacevole per noi!

È vicino alla stazione e al Carrefour, quindi i trasporti e lo shopping sono molto convenienti. C'è una cucina e puoi preparare i tuoi utensili da cucina. C'è anche un parcheggio a pagamento, ma non ci sono molti posti auto, quindi bisogna tentare la fortuna per vedere se ci sono posti liberi.

I was very disappointed with our stay at this hotel. Unfortunately, we encountered a few not very friendly staff at the reception. They didn’t do anything in particular that we would consider rude - but they just had a cold attitude. Some of their staff seem to have treated other guests a little differently for instance walking them to the lift and giving them more information about the hotel. This really impacted our experience at the hotel. However, I must say many of their staff were amazing, just a handful that were very cold and dismissive and this is not the level of hospitality you would expect from such a renowned hotel. The room also looked and felt quite different than what is shown on trip.com and their official website. I would still highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Lyon!
