Spagna: hotel con spa nella provincia di Catalogna

A short stay for of 2 days was booked with Triip.com for one adult and 2 children under 10, to join us who were booked in a day earlier for three days. Our three day booking was direct with the hotel, half board. The hotel is marked 'adults recommended' and they sure discourage children, by seeking to charge per occupancy rather than simply on a cost per room. The Trip site quite fairly offered the room at the rate for two adults, with children under 12 free, so this is what was paid. Half board was added but at the rate for two adults, which would be greater than the actual hotel rate for one adult and two children, but I was happy to have reserved restaurant secured. Things got messy at check in, the hotel insisting that the room was occupied by three 'persons' as they put it and should therefore be 50% extra, though the room was the same type as the twin we had for two adults. The Hotel also insisted that only breakfast was provided, and tried to argue that the B2B rate from the third party (Trip) was insufficient. I politely pointed out that the discounts provided to third party agents was no concern of the customer, and referred to my booking voucher which clearly stated I had booked a twin room, into which was going 1 adult, two very small children, and that breakfast and dinner was paid for, with the rate for 1 adult being greater than twice the local charge for a child. They were impossible to deal with, and I left the reception angry and upset. I contacted the Trip representative and by that evening it was sorted. Full marks to Trip, zero to the hotel. As for our stay, the hotel is excellent, but with room to improve. Dinner in the Buffet only commences at 8.00, resulting in quite the bunfight if the restaurant is busy. It was on that Thursday, a national holiday, and it was impossible to order wine and beverages after we seated, with a single service person taking orders. We ate our food dry, and finally placed an order for wine and water while eating dessert, some 40 minutes after seating. The same bottleneck occurred the next morning at breakfast, with the four snail paced Nespresso machines totally incapable of dealing with the coffee demands. Worse, all 4 machines overheated and went into 'service mode'. Worse again, these obviously unsuitable barista machines were the only source of hot water for Tea or infusions, but with no seperate hot water dispenser faucet. You had to stand for almost 2 minutes while the machine slowly dispensed through the coffee outlet, a single mug of hot water, to the frustration of the queue behind. This needs sorting, it took ages to get a breakfast beverage every morning, and on the second day I had to return 4 floors to my room and fill my cup from the in room Nespresso maker. I'd advise to bring a travel kettle with you. Otherwise, a fine hotel, but the restaurant problems and discriminatory pricing for children are an issue, so not a hotel for children.

I had high hopes for this ”4star hotel” From the pictures and the previous reviews everything seemed like it was too good to be true... Arrival was average, had to ask which way to go to get to my allocated room (normally you are directed by a member of reception atleast) Arrived at my room (104) 1st floor. Opened the door to a bright airy room..my first thoughts were this is lovely. Dropped my bags and took a shower and that's where things started to go downhill...let me explain... Now I am aware this is not 5 star but if im being totally honest I have stayed in cleaner 2 star hotels... The attention to detail from the cleaners is just way below par for a 4 star establishment. Shower door covered in limescale (easy to put right with a bit of Elbow grease) Mold and nasties around the outer edge of the shower door (see pics) Splash marks all over the tiles at the side of the sink (like old toothpaste marks) Sink wouldn't drain properly (seemed to be blocked) Skirting boards definitely hadn't been given a wipe for a good few weeks/months All standard/basic stuff that you would expect from any hotel and certainly from a 4 star one or am I being picky? Then there was the call to reception to ask for some milk so I could make a coffee (kettle is provided in room) Receptionist said they don't have fresh milk only 'powdered sachets' of the most vile tasting milk I've ever had (think baby milk/gone off normal milk) Apparently the restaurant was closed so they could not access it to get some fresh milk? Receptionist advised me to go to the supermarket..which is a 25 minute walk from the hotel 🤦♀️ As it happens there is a coffee machine outside the reception entrance so I found myself nipping downstairs to buy one from there. (Not the most convenient but we move forward) I had read that there was a rooftop restaurant in the flyer as advertised but when I asked about it apparently it is no longer there? The restaurant is only open at breakfast times so no food is available not even snacks? However they advertise room service so unsure how that works? Outdoor pools closed which is fine but you couldn't even sit on the loungers hence....nowhere to sit outside the hotel itself. Such a shame that all these little things build and in turn let it down as a 4 star advertised hotel. Now for the positives... The view from the room of the sea is beautiful It is literally across the road from miles of sandy beaches There are a couple of lovely restaurants nearby that are open from 12 noon for brunch/dinner and reasonably priced. The area itself is super quiet and feels safe enough as a solo traveller.

La posizione è eccellente, con una stazione della metropolitana e una fermata dell'autobus a pochi passi e numerose attrazioni e ristoranti che offrono diverse cucine raggiungibili a piedi. Gli interni dell'hotel sono discreti. Tuttavia, il lavandino del bagno in camera è mal progettato, troppo poco profondo e privo del portasciugamani, comune in altri hotel. La frutta a colazione è fresca, compresa la spremuta d'arancia fresca, ma la varietà complessiva è troppo limitata e monotona, con poca scelta di verdure. Inoltre, il menù della colazione è rimasto invariato per diversi giorni, il che non è all'altezza degli standard di un hotel a quattro stelle.

La sistemazione è molto buona. Anche il servizio è buono. C'è una spa con prezzi ragionevoli. La colazione è completa ma un po' uguale. Dovrebbero esserci altri tipi di proteine. L'alloggio è sul mare, bello, adatto. Se ne avrò la possibilità, mi piacerebbe riportare la mia famiglia.

All'inizio ero preoccupato per la posizione dell'hotel. Niente di cui preoccuparsi. L'hotel è vicino alla stazione ferroviaria (20 minuti a piedi). Ci sono diverse opzioni per cenare nei dintorni dell'hotel. I servizi sono ben tenuti (sauna/piscina). La camera era spaziosa e confortevole. Un aspetto da migliorare sarebbe l'orario di apertura del bar. Chiudono alle 11. Non si riesce a trovare nemmeno una bottiglia d'acqua se non si cammina per almeno 10 minuti. Cose che possono essere migliorate per i futuri viaggiatori. 1. L'atteggiamento del personale nella hall dovrebbe rappresentare il marchio dell'hotel. C'era un membro dello staff al banco cassa (non so il suo nome, è un uomo sulla trentina...) che urlava a un altro collega e non gli importava se ci fossero ospiti in giro o meno. Davvero scortese e poco professionale. 2. I bagni nella hall necessitano di molta manutenzione. C'erano water e rubinetti rotti. A parte queste osservazioni, questo posto è un'ottima opzione se si desidera soggiornare fuori Barcellona.

Recently stayed at this hotel and i can gladly say i have loved it and it is a very aesthetically pleasing hotel. Staff are very nice and welcoming. Location is not city centre but it is about 15-20 min out depending on where you go, i used uber to go everywhere and this cost about 10€ - 20€. I was disappointed because two days before my trip i was made aware that i had to pay a 400€ deposit or a 800€ deposit which was also made unclear on their website. I wish they had made this more clear. To make this clear for everyone else , it is 100€ per night with a credit card and 200€ per night with debit card. At the end of the stay we still had to pay for a 40€ city tax. Considering we already payed alot for this hotel, having to pay a high amount of deposit is ridiculous. They do have a spa, but not included with the hotel so you have to pay an extra 40€ which i also thought it was quite upsetting. Everything else was great and very nicely equipped with everything we needed.

Come designer di interni alberghieri che trascorre la maggior parte della sua vita soggiornando in hotel, ho sperimentato la mia giusta dose di sistemazioni, e questa aveva sicuramente margini di miglioramento. È difficile credere che, al giorno d'oggi, ottenere una semplice tazza di caffè a colazione possa essere così difficile. Mi è stato detto che potevo entrare nel ristorante solo se stavo facendo colazione, ma quando ho spiegato che non faccio colazione e volevo solo sedermi, controllare le email e prendere un caffè, mi è stato detto di no e mi è stato offerto un bicchiere di carta da asporto, come una specie di cittadino di basso livello, indegno di un posto a tavola a meno che non fossi disposto a mangiare lì. Mi è stato detto che avrei potuto andare al bar dell'hotel vuoto e sedermi su una poltrona, curvo sul mio portatile, aspettando che il bar aprisse alle 9 del mattino. Mi sono lamentato con il personale della reception, che ha ascoltato attentamente la mia esperienza, ma a metà frase si sono allontanati per assistere un cliente con una tessera magnetica difettosa. Quindi, non solo avevo un disperato bisogno di caffè, ma mi sentivo anche completamente invisibile. Inoltre, l'asciugacapelli ha smesso di funzionare quasi subito e la palestra era piccola e scarsamente illuminata. Detto questo, ci sono stati alcuni aspetti positivi. L'armadio aveva un sacco di grucce (il che è un mio cruccio personale, quindi ne sono grato). Tuttavia, la finestra è stata una vera delusione. Invece di una bella finestra a tutta parete, dal pavimento al soffitto, che avrebbe sfruttato al meglio la vista, ci è stata assegnata una strana finestra dall'aspetto aggressivo che bloccava la vista e non si allineava affatto con lo stile della camera. Scegliete una camera lontana dagli ascensori, perché sono rumorosi e affollati. Nel complesso, c'è del potenziale, ma sono sicuramente necessari dei miglioramenti. Di certo non quello che mi aspettavo da un Marriott a 4 stelle.

Generally, it was 3 star experience. Advantages: good cleaning service, buffet food was okay most of the time, hotel is located very close to the sea. The biggest disadvantage is an “all inclusive”, it is definitely not comparable with Turkish all inclusive. First of all, visitors who paid for all inclusive are not getting anything in mini-bar, not even a water. You can get water from the bar from a water cooler, but you have to have your own bottle. Also, their “all inclusive” does not include a lot of drinks from the bar, and restaurant near the main bar and in front of the sea. The “all inclusive” ice cream is a joke, instead of the normal ice cream you are getting a smallest version of only 2 or 3 basic ice creams, for all other ones you need to pay. Also, the “snack bar” is located outside of the hotel, food itself was not too bad, but pretty basic, the area was very small and near the children’s swimming pool. For the beach towels you need to give 10€ deposit in cash, and if you want sun lounger with umbrella on the beach you need to pay 25€ for one day use. The hotel bar on the beach is also non “all inclusive”. So, out of all hotel locations you only can use your all inclusive benefit in 2 bars and 1 “snack bar” + buffet. Overall, hotel is not bad but not good. Would only recommend to go there with option bed+breakfast, and pay for the rest meals and drinks. It will be cheaper and you will not feel like an outsider or beggar, going around the hotel asking where you can eat. Because that how we felt exactly. P.S. Russian lady in the adults only bar was providing an amazing service and was very helpful and kind :)

Il design dell'hotel è molto bello, la piscina blu cielo mare è in linea, molti locali vengono in vacanza!La colazione è ricco, il personale di servizio è anche molto entusiasta, la camera è ampia e confortevole, e la prossima volta divertirsi più di qualche giorno!

La stanza è isolata da un cappello.Il panorama del mare è bello e un passo verso il mare.E'adeguato per il viaggio.Vivere molto carino e dovrebbe tornare.Quattro stelle sono quasi quattro stelle standard.
