Fujian, Cina: hotel con vista mare

This is a duplicate of my review for dates from 6 to 8 June 2026, as I extended my stay for one night. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would happily stay here again. The location is excellent. It's right next to the metro, directly across the road from China City Mall, and within easy walking distance of Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, the waterfront and the ferry wharf. It made exploring Xiamen incredibly easy. The staff were consistently helpful and efficient. They obtained information about the Xiamen-Kinmen ferry, which was greatly appreciated. The breakfast restaurant staff deserve special mention as they were always friendly, welcoming and genuinely seemed pleased to see their guests each morning. The room itself was lovely. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was excellent and while I didn't use the bath, the shower was very good. The hotel also has a nice swimming pool, gym and lounge area, all of which added to the overall experience. Breakfast was good, with plenty of choices, both Asian and Western, and a pleasant atmosphere. I only intended to stay a short time, but enjoyed both the hotel and Xiamen enough that I extended my stay by an extra night. From my room I had good views, including Zheng Chenggong's statue on Gulangyu Island and Xiamen's Twin Towers in the distance. This hotel certainly helped make my stay in Xiamen an enjoyable one. I left with very positive memories and would gladly stay here again.

It was an overall good experience. The hotel is an icon ”the Twin Towers” and is conveniently located in Siming, a stone's throw away from Shapowei, a cozy neighborhood filled with nice little shops and plenty of good coffee vendors. Although the hotel is a bit dated but the room still has its grandeur and spaciousness. The check-in counters are on 38/F and the staff are nice and courteous. Our check-in staff, Dora is definitely an exemplary of the high quality service I'd expect of a 5 star hotel. She was extremely professional and follows through with us to make sure we had a nice stay. She definitely made our stay very warm and memorable. We had a dinner at their ”Michelin” Western restaurant Coast, but the experience was not good. There were 3 tables at best, but the staff if any, were too busy looking at their phones. We had to wave many times for them to notice us. We ordered the fish, steak, and another seafood dish. The steak was overcooked and chewy, not what I'd expect from a ”Michelin” restaurant. The fish was barely luke-warm, and the other seafood dish was bland and uneventful. With the high price tag for the dishes, I would not say it's worth it in terms of taste nor in service. The breakfast buffet however was good in terms of variety of selection, as well as in the quality of their waiters. There is also a Lawson convenient store on the G/F of the hotel, and a small shopping mall next door. Their indoor swimming pool is nice and the view is excellent. Just remember to bring your cap as all swimmers require a swimming cap! We had a lovely stay at Conrad Xiamen and would definitely choose this hotel again on our next stay.

Excellent buffet breakfast with a really wide spread. Staff members were helpful including front desk who explained why I being a foreigner was unable to book ferry tickets online to gulangyu. Bellboys helpful with luggage and getting us safely into cabs. Room was v spacious and they upgraded us to seafacing room with a great view.

I had an excellent stay at InterContinental Xiamen by IHG. The location is perfect, the buffet food is delicious, and the overall service quality is outstanding. I especially want to thank Jason, Henry, Suzy, as well as the Manager on Duty, for their exceptional support and kindness throughout my stay. They were always very attentive, answered all of my questions, and went above and beyond to help me during an issue with delayed luggage. My luggage was delayed for one day, and my colleague’s luggage for two days, and the staff was always available and proactive in helping us coordinate with the airline and recover our bags. Their professionalism, warmth, and willingness to help made a very stressful situation much easier. I’m truly very grateful for all their support. Highly recommended hotel for both business and leisure travelers.

Grande servizio che va tutto il tempo fuori! Buffet colazione eccellente con grande varietà. Grande posizione come vicino alla spiaggia. Solo l'influenza è che l'hotel WiFi non sembra collegare al mio hp o iPad, quindi ho dovuto contare sul mio piano di dati personali.

Very nice, sea view is so cool. The staff at front desk are very friendly. I like swimming pools, it’s very beautiful. But the lobby is so hot, too bad.

Sala di vista marina L’hotel è lontano dal centro della città, ha una vista incredibile sulla baia. Buffet colazione molto ampio, stazione di noodles, stazione di uova, molte varietà, pane, zuppe, pasticceria, per la delicatezza locale. L'hotel ha una valutazione di 5 stelle, ma diverse aree hanno bisogno di TLC soprattutto pareti divanite, cavi di pocking e doccia nelle camere di giornata in sala da ginnastica in necessità di aggiornamento. Le camere sono molto grandi, con bagno, WC e doccia separati, cabina e bagagli al lato della porta. I piatti locali sono a circa 10 minuti a piedi.

這個酒店應該是個老牌五星了，服務特別到位熟練，印象很深刻。 感謝前台小哥哥（一個戴眼鏡的小哥哥，臉蛋有點點嬰兒肥，忘記問名字了）和前台林欣小姐姐的照顧，幫我升級房間提供早餐，早餐種類豐富，味道很棒。 性價比特別高，很多細節也很到位，非常推薦。
