Beautiful hotel with a moor onsen spa and sauna. However it is a 15-min walk from the station and shuttle service is limited. Lots of weddings and royal visit at this resort. Twin Room is spacious and comfortable. Walking distance to M fast food chain next door and Aeon shopping nearby. I would highly recommend it.

We are disappointed as we cannot have breakfast in the hotel even our package included breakfast.
The line was too long when we went to hotel breakfast today at 8:40. We waited another 10 mins and the line was still very long as per the photo attached. I think the breakfast is overbooked as the hotel accepted tour.
I suggest Trip.com or the hotel needs to ensure they don’t over sell their breakfast package. We end up going to another hotel for breakfast by our own cost.
A Perfect Stay with a View – I Wish I Could Stay Longer!
I stayed at Cross Hotel Sapporo and absolutely loved it. The view of the Sapporo TV Tower at night was amazing, especially while relaxing in the massage chair in the room — such a nice touch! The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming.
The breakfast was also a highlight — everything was fresh and delicious. One night definitely wasn’t enough. Next time, I’ll be sure to stay longer. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Sapporo!
I’m really glad I booked this hotel — it did not disappoint at all. We stayed in a triple room, which was spacious and well-organized. We also booked another room for two people; it was smaller but still very private and comfortable.
The hotel has both a public onsen and private onsens. There are three private onsen rooms available, and they operate on a first-come, first-served basis with no reservations needed. The staff explained everything clearly when we checked in.
There were also snacks and massage chairs available for guests to relax, which was a lovely touch. The price was very reasonable, and there are many restaurants in the area that stay open late, which was very convenient.
Highly recommended — I loved this place!
If you are driving, you can park your car at the parking area right beside the hotel. At the front desk, exchange your parking ticket for a free pass with you can use to enter and exit the parking area for free-of-charge throughout your stay. The parking will cost 1000yen/night, which you have to pay upfront when you check-in.
Overall, it was a beautiful and comfortable hotel which is near to the Hakodate Bay and the Morning Market. The hotel offers a complimentry onsen for all stayers.
Excellent classic hotel offers very clean and well presenting room. Hot public bath is wonderful experience for foreigners and the facility is very good
Wonderful stay and the onsen is incredible. You can continue using it even on the day you check out (which was really nice since my train onwards was after 2pm). The staff were very kind and accommodating. The buffet dinner was nice, but I preferred the breakfast. The dinner had a lot of fish and unique specialties (and also crab legs), and the fish was really nice. For breakfast they had more usual variety including soft serve ice cream that you could enjoy.
Three single beds in a room, with a small seating area in front of the tv, and a desk with drawers.
The room was clean, nicely lit, well thought of space lay out. It didn’t feel cramped.
There were electrical outlets on the bed headboard, and can also switch lights from the headboard, and headboard also lit up. Independent switches for each bed. I liked that so you don’t need to light up the entire room if it’s just you who needs to be still awake while others are sleeping…
The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in Japan. So many choices of food and the quality of the food was superb. Served many local Hokkaido specialties, and locally grown produce. A good spread of western, Asian, Japanese food, with dessert, salads, sushi, egg station and pastries, bread. We always looked forward to the breakfast. Served the Hokkaido specialties like curry, ramen, white omelette (special egg where the egg yolk is not very yellow)…, scallops, seafood, fruits…. It was such a delight to have breakfast!
The staff are quite helpful too.
Hotel is conveniently located just across Hakodate JR Station and nearby the bus terminal and local tram stop. Downstairs had a convenience (drug) store which has all sorts of meds that you may need; nearby are quite a number of eateries to choose from including a Lucky Pierrot outlet as well - this one seems to be larger so we didn’t need to queue.
The hotel had a Cafe - complimentary access for Premier guests - at the top floor. View of Hakodate from room was amazing. Breakfast had a decent selection of eastern and Japanese style cuisines.
Will definitely stay at this hotel again when back in Hakodate!
