Zhejiang, Cina: hotel romantici

Qualche tempo fa ero in viaggio d'affari e ho soggiornato allo Shuxiang Shijia Hotel. L'esperienza è stata fantastica! Non appena sono entrato nella hall, sono stato attratto dallo stile decorativo antico. Ciò che è stato ancora più sorprendente è stato il fatto che fossero forniti dei bellissimi costumi antichi. Zhang Mingyu ha detto che avrei potuto scattare foto e registrarmi gratuitamente, il che ha realizzato il mio sogno di indossare costumi antichi. Ha anche preso l'iniziativa di aiutarmi a scattare foto e i risultati sono stati sorprendenti! Anche al momento del check-in, il servizio offerto da Xiao Zhang alla reception è stato molto premuroso. Non solo mi hanno preparato rapidamente una stanza, ma hanno anche preso l'iniziativa di chiedere al cameriere di mettere gli articoli monouso che avevo portato con me e di pulirli con cura con salviette disinfettanti. Questa operazione meticolosa mi ha fatto sentire subito al sicuro e al caldo. La stanza era calda e confortevole, con tutti i comfort necessari. L'ambiente tranquillo mi ha permesso di dormire bene. Inoltre, mi ha aiutato a chiamare un taxi quando sono andato al tempio di Linyin la mattina. Questa esperienza di soggiorno è stata fantastica. Lo Shuxiang Shijia Hotel sarà sicuramente la mia prima scelta la prossima volta che viaggerò!

La posizione è davvero eccellente, a soli 1,3 chilometri dal villaggio di Longjing, il che la rende perfetta per gli appassionati di escursionismo che si dirigono da Longjing a Jiuxi. L'hotel è situato nel cuore di un'area residenziale, circondato da piantagioni di tè, offrendo un'atmosfera straordinariamente tranquilla. Una passeggiata nel villaggio è pervasa dal profumo del tè. Tuttavia, le strutture dell'hotel sono piuttosto datate, soprattutto il piccolo televisore; si spera che questo aspetto possa essere migliorato.

I enjoyed my stay at the Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale very much. Dan at the reception was very friendly and did the check in quick and smooth. She arranged a higher floor room for me which I really appreciate. The room was comfortable and spacious. The hotel has also self service washing machines for guests in the basement floor, very convenient!

Overall, this was a good stay with some truly special aspects, but also a few areas that could be improved. The hotel is quite remote, which makes it feel very private and peaceful, surrounded by nature such as the lake, forest, and mountains. Even though we visited other viewpoints around Qiandao Lake, this location felt more special because of its quiet and secluded setting. The hotel itself feels like a destination, with scenic viewpoints, a garden with a lake, a cave, and even trekking trails to explore. The garden area includes a swan lake, which is a nice idea. However, the swans are kept in a very small netted space. It does not look great visually and feels restrictive for the animals, which took away from the experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed that was not too soft or too hard. Sound insulation was excellent, which made for great sleep. I also requested a firmer pillow, and it was provided quickly. The lake view room upgrade was a highlight. The view was stunning and made it hard to leave the room. If you stay here, I would strongly recommend booking a lake view room. The layout was nice, with both a balcony and a window view. The thick frame dividing the view slightly affected the overall feel, but it was not a major issue. The bathtub was also a nice addition. Cleaning was good overall. The AC did not work very well during the hot midday hours, although it was fine at other times of the day. Facilities such as the gym, yoga room, pool, and game room were nice additions. However, they felt quite standard for a five-star hotel, and I have experienced better quality in similar properties. One great feature was the free Tesla charging, but this was not communicated at all. We only discovered it by chance, which is a missed opportunity as it is a strong benefit. Breakfast was acceptable but not at the expected level. The coffee and bakery were the weakest parts. Ordering is done via QR code instead of in person, which felt a bit impersonal for a luxury hotel atmosphere. Service during breakfast also felt a bit off, as staff seemed focused on their tasks and were not very proactive in guiding or prioritizing guests, which made the experience feel less warm and not the kindest. Service was generally kind and friendly, but inconsistent at times. Some staff could benefit from additional training, as not everyone followed typical five-star service standards such as greeting guests or offering priority. Another disappointment was the welcome fruit, which was included in our package but not provided on arrival. After we asked, a staff member came carrying items for multiple rooms in a bag and handed us just one apple and one peach. This felt unprofessional although something very small. Another point worth noting is that the hotel was originally booked as an InterContinental, but about 1-2 weeks before arrival it was no longer part of the brand (somehow on Trip.com it still says intercontinental). Not sure if this impacted the experience, but overall it did feel slightly below what you might expect from that level, even though the stay itself was still enjoyable. The hotel also offers free Tesla charging, which is a great feature. However, this was not communicated at all during or before our stay, and we only discovered it by chance. This feels like a missed opportunity, as it is a strong benefit that could add significant value for guests I did not try lunch or dinner, so I cannot comment on those. Overall, this is a very peaceful and unique stay with amazing natural surroundings and a beautiful lake view. However, some service and operational details need improvement to truly match a luxury standard.

Fuchun mountain resort is strongly recommended for foreigners like our family. Peaceful Lake with awesome landscape made our family to feel refreshing. Chinese traditional style hotel room is quite cozy. Complementary service like taking a picture by photographer is to be made a reservation when check in, otherwise fully booked in case of weekend.

We had an amazing stay at Naked Stables Resort. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and surrounded by nature, making it the perfect place to relax and disconnect. Our room was comfortable, clean, and thoughtfully designed, and every detail made our stay even more enjoyable. A special thanks to Joan, who was absolutely wonderful throughout our stay. She was incredibly kind, professional, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Her warm hospitality and genuine care made us feel truly welcome, and she played a big part in making our experience smooth, enjoyable, and memorable. The Hilton hotel is a spacious and family friendly hotel. It is clean and well maintained with friendly staff. When you first arrive you feel welcomed and treated warmly by staff members. They are patient and offer to carry your things and help you navigate the very design of the hotel. This is not to any detriment to the hotel itself but merely a result of the many offerings it has such as a hall for hosting private functions and events, 2 restaurants and the recreational area. This was my first time staying at this hotel and I was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious and clean with a nice shower and toilet. Our room was graciously upgraded and it came with a bath tub and lake view. The two restaurants are Taste (Asian cuisine) and Eatzy café and bistro. The meals in Taste are generally delicious and packed full of flavour. We ate there twice and while it was excellent I would say it was a bit pricey. The portion sizes are decent but there are some inconsistencies with the quality. That I believe was either due to them being very busy when we revisited. The venue and decor are quite beautiful. The staff at the restaurant are very accommodating and friendly always willing to help. There is a sauna and steam room available in the men and women's locker room for the pool area. Only the indoor pool was available at the time and it was fine though I wished the outdoor pool and bar was open. Sadly it was closed indefinitely. The hotel has some comfortable areas outside to relax around and enjoy. I also noticed little things like extra towels not available in the change room and within the 40 minutes of using the sauna, I wasn't able to ask for a new towel to shower. There is a little beach volleyball area with white sand and shaded cabana like areas for your family and friends to sit and enjoy. Just below the hotel is a Waterpark which has many activities like wakeboarding, paddle and electric boats and more. I felt that it was far too pricey per person. As hotel guest, there should have been a discount. It seems at every turn there is a charge for little things around the hotel that makes it a bit disheartening at times.

A dire il vero, l'ingresso dell'hotel è stretto per le auto che entrano/escono. Inoltre, il personale all'ingresso ha cercato di venderci un pacchetto trasporti. Quando volevamo andare a Westlake alle 17:00, ci ha detto che Westlake era chiuso a quell'ora, chiedendoci perché volessimo andarci, e ci ha consigliato il suo pacchetto per il giorno successivo. Non l'abbiamo accettato e ci siamo accorti che Westlake non era chiuso e che c'erano anche attività serali. A parte questi due punti, tutto il resto era ottimo: il personale alla reception era gentile e cortese. Le camere venivano pulite ogni giorno e la colazione era buona. I bambini hanno apprezzato la piccola area giochi in camera e il letto a castello.
