Bascon Cafe

The chicken relleno was the star. The filling was moist and savory, really well-seasoned. The sauce had a nice tang to it. The place itself is a bit dated, but that didn't matter much. Just a solid, classic dish done right.

Been coming here for years, always get the tocino meal. It's exactly the same every time, which is why I keep coming back. That's what I look for in a comfort food spot. The place does fill up fast though, so you gotta time it right.

The KoFi chicken portion was huge! Savory and garlicky, spice level was just right for me.
