Giappone: hotel con piscina nella provincia di Prefettura di Fukuoka

È stata una brutta esperienza per il mio soggiorno di 3 notti in questo Hotel Oriental. L'aria condizionata era molto debole. Ho abbassato la temperatura a 19°C alta, fresca ma ancora molto debole. Ho espresso il problema dell'aria condizionata alla reception verso le 9:30 del 19 aprile del mattino. La signora della reception ha detto che avrebbe dato seguito. Sono tornato in hotel verso le 23:15 e abbiamo scoperto che la temperatura della stanza era ancora troppo calda per noi. Eravamo molto stanchi e rinunciammo di nuovo a dare voce. Nessuno dell'hotel ci ha dato una risposta. È stata una brutta esperienza trascorrere 3 notti in una camera tripla in questo hotel.

L'hotel è in una posizione comoda, con ristoranti nelle vicinanze e non lontano dalla stazione della metropolitana per lo shopping! Il personale è molto disponibile e pronto ad aiutare! È un po' scomodo perché la sala pulizie richiede di tirare fuori le carte prima delle 10.

Hotel is next to subway station, however, there is distance (10-15 mins) from the Tianjin key shopping and dinning area. There is in-house car parking which is convenient for those staying in hotel with car. The service of front desk are professional and polite with good level of English.

The staff was incredibly attentive, always ready to assist with a warm smile, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, with spotless rooms and well-maintained facilities that enhanced our comfort. Just an 8-minute walk from the massive Hakata Station with so many restaurants and shops to choose from.

La camera in cui abbiamo effettuato il check-in il primo giorno aveva un forte odore di sudore, che non poteva essere dissipato anche se accendevamo l'aria condizionata o aprivamo le finestre. Dopo aver parlato con il personale dell'hotel, abbiamo ricevuto una bottiglia di sterilizzante per l'aria spray e ci siamo offerti di cambiare camera, ma era un piccolo letto matrimoniale (originariamente avevamo prenotato una camera doppia), quindi eravamo disposti a dare all'hotel un'altra possibilità di pulire, ma l'odore di sudore non si era ancora dissipato il giorno successivo. mattina, quindi l'hotel ha immediatamente cambiato la nostra camera con una doppia, grazie 👍. Had a pleasant stay. Everything was perfect from concierge handling my car to be auto parked in hotel to greetings and responding to our needs. The bed was comfort and we were most glad to be given a free upgrade to a higher floor. Thank you so much.

One of my favourite hotels. The price was very surprising considering the location of the hotel. The staff were nice and very welcoming. I'd stay here again no problem.

This triple room is a bit smal, almost no room for suitcase and only allow one to stand between the bed and TV. Others are fine.

The location is excellent with 1 min walking distant to subway. Cafe, restaurants, supermarket, convenience store, drug store are nearby. Room Size is acceptable for the price. Clean and tidy. Meanwhile it was not so satisfy with the tax of staying charged. I hv only one person, but the staff insisted to charge me 2 people tax. Their explanation was the booking i had reserved for 2 ppl.

Ho dormito perfettamente per tutte le notti trascorse lì. Avrei solo desiderato che i cuscini fossero leggermente più grandi. Sono rimasto anche un po' sbalordito nel vedere l'area del bagno in questo modo, spero che l'hotel lo aggiusti presto.

Right next to JR Kokura Station so very convenient for people who take train. We drove so decided to park a little farther (less than 10min walking distance). As expected the room is not big, but clean and cosy. A food court style dining area （屋台）is right downstairs near the station where you can find a great variety of food such as barbecue, ox intestine hot pot (もつ鍋), sushi etc.

Clean, spacious and an easy walk from Kokura station. The shower water pressure was great and bed was comfortable. There is no safe in the room for valuables.

Comfort hotel: a comfortable hotel, albeit with small rooms, but all you need. Easy walk to station, shops, castle and riverside. The included breakfast was tasty with a good buffet selection.

This room type is sufficient for 4. Would be nice if hotel explains how to set up room. Futon is much thinner than the 12 tatami mat room type. Was difficult to enquire room rate and extension from front desk, ended up just booking on trip.com directly, much easier snd hassle free.

Location is good, just next to train station and all the convenience stalls.are within reach. The room for a single traveller is reasonable. The hotel provides free curry rice and drinks in the morning and evening. Taste ok to me. Overall will recommend this place if you are visiting Kokura

I originally booked this hotel by mistake but was pleasantly surprised by some aspects of my stay. Tthe location was quite far from Fukuoka, where I had intended to stay for a concert. I arrived at the hotel around 11:30 AM–12 PM after an early morning flight, unaware that check-in wasn’t until 3 PM. When I approached the front desk, the receptionist—a young girl—gave me a strange look before informing me of the check-in time. The lack of warmth in her greeting was disappointing, especially compared to my experiences at other hotels in Japan. The weather on February 6, the day of my arrival, was harsh—it was very windy as it was cold, and I had to walk from Seto bus stop to the hotel with two suitcases in freezing conditions. Exhausted from my flight and journey to Munakata, I had hoped for a more welcoming atmosphere. Instead, after a brief trip to a nearby Lawson to grab food, I returned to the hotel and waited in the lobby, as it was too cold to explore. By 2 PM, fatigue took over, and I lay down on the lobby couch to rest. Despite dozing off in the cold lobby, no staff member approached me. The heating system inside the hotel was weak, and I kept waking up from the biting cold. At 2:30 PM, I heard guests checking in, which surprised me—no one had informed me that I could start checking in earlier. When I lined up at the front desk, the same receptionist from earlier recognized me but seemed to push her colleague forward to assist me, which I found rude and unprofessional for a staff member at a four-star hotel. However, her colleague was kind and attentive. Since I speak Japanese, the check-in process went smoothly. There was an error on my part regarding my booking—I had mistakenly reserved my stay until February 10 instead of February 9. I explained this at the front desk, and the staff member tried to help but apologized, as the booking was made through a third-party site and couldn’t be refunded. I understood this and simply wanted to inform them of my earlier departure. The hotel itself is old but well-maintained. I stayed in a Japanese-style room, which, despite its age, was clean and comfortable. The air-conditioning unit was quite old, but amenities were available on the first floor. The hotel seems to be popular with families or tour groups. There are a lot of Korean guests as well. Even for a business hotel, customer service toward foreign solo travelers was severly lacking. It's embarassing to think that was the kind of training they gave their employees at a four star hotel. I'm writing this review while staying at Comfort Hotel, a cheaper chain of hotel but the omotenashi I received here is on another level. There isn’t much to do nearby Mercure Munakata. The closest kaisendon restaurant was about a 30-minute walk away. Unfortunately, the weather during my stay was terrible—windy and snowy—so I didn’t explore much. There was a church (?) next to the hotel, but nothing else of note. One of the highlights of the stay was the hot spring, which had both indoor and outdoor baths. I didn’t eat at the hotel restaurant, as the prices seemed high. A free shuttle bus is available to Togo Station, but you need to inform the front desk of your preferred departure time in advance. I didn’t take many photos of the hotel itself—there wasn’t much worth capturing besides the bath, where phones aren’t allowed. Would I stay here again? No. Would I recommend this hotel? No, especially not for solo foreign travelers.
