Germania: hotel con piscina nella provincia di Renania Settentrionale-Vestfalia

È stata recentemente rinnovata in modo bellissimo e la stanza è estremamente comoda. Tuttavia, alcuni membri del personale non sembravano ben addestrato. C'era un puliziatore che mi ha tenuto aperto mentre ero in camera e non sapevo se facesse lo stesso mentre non ero li'. Una volta mi ha appena preso fuori dal doccia.È davvero disturbante?

Mercure Duisburg is quite a good hotel. Especially for the price we paid for 4 people. The sleeper couch was comfortable for the kids and the bed for us was nice. We also really enjoyed the breakfast (although we missed the bacon…). The swimming pool was actually nice. The kids enjoyed it a lot. The location is absolutely perfect. The main shopping street is behind the hotel on a couple of minutes walking distance. We enjoyed the Christmas market and the kids had KFC. There are nice shops as well. Parking was very reasonable. 12 euros for 24 hours.  Some constructive feedback: - the pillows are surprisingly flat. They didn’t have extra pillows left, other guests also asked for them. Might be good to change the pillows. Pillows are not that expensive nowadays, so Accor, please upgrade there.  - there is only 1 lift. That was quite uncomfortable because the staff also uses the lift, especially also housekeeping with the carts. So sometimes it’s either you wait or you take the stairs.  - the carpet could be changed. It’s clean, but looks old and worn out. They put up a funny poster, so that makes it a little better. But still, hopefully for the next renovation, please take that up as well.  - the TV mainly had German channels. The news channels were also in English. The smart tv’s unfortunately didn’t have apps on like Netflix or Prime, etc. so I could log in with my own account. Neither was there a way to screen mirror my phone. So when the kids were sleeping I ended up watching a movie on my phone… Some minor things, but we do recommend the hotel. If you have a bigger budget, you can find a more luxurious hotel I’m sure. We would come back again.

La camera è arredata di recente, è calda e la biancheria da letto è adatta alle mie esigenze. L'acqua calda nel bagno è difficile da regolare. La colazione era abbondante, ma le uniche verdure erano pomodori e cetrioli crudi tagliati a pezzetti, e nessuna salsa come la salsa Thousand Island o la maionese. Sebbene si trovi in ​​periferia di Colonia, proprio di fronte al cancello principale ci sono due grandi supermercati, un negozio di scarpe, un negozio di abbigliamento economico e una farmacia DM a prezzi accessibili. Dietro l'hotel, a pochi minuti a piedi, si trovano McDonald's e KFC, mentre dall'altra parte della strada si trova Decathlon. Perché la situazione dei trasporti pubblici non è molto chiara.

Stayed as a couple at Club King Double room for 5 nights during the Amphi Festival. Pros: - Unbeatable location, walking distance to everything while not within the Old Town which is way too touristy. Five-minute walk from the train that takes you straight to the airport. - Room 99% soundproof, very private and peaceful (stayed at the Club floor, 6/6). - Amazing bed. - Full-size working desk in the room. - Daytime service very professional, helpful, and friendly. - The Club Floor lounge has it's own very good breakfast buffet (included with the Club rooms at no extra cost - apart from the higher cost of the Club room itself - so you might skip paying extra for the regular breakfast at the restaurant). Also daytime tea with cake and an evening snack are served as well. The snack could become your legitimate dinner if you need it, as there are hot options and appetizers. Amazing view of the cathedral from the Lounge. - The food was amazing. Cons: - The night shift staff is not at the same level as the day shift, so try to resolve your matters during the day. - Some visible wear and tear in the room (not important to me, but might bother some who expect everything to be 100% at this price point). Overall: - Highly recommend, would stay again.

La posizione dell'Hotel Adina è molto buona. È vicino alla stazione ferroviaria, molto conveniente, e allo stesso tempo sorprendentemente tranquillo, che apprezzo davvero. La camera è ben attrezzata per un soggiorno più lungo. Una frigorifera di dimensioni piene, una lavatrice e un'attrezzatura di cucina di base fanno una grande differenza e aggiunge un sacco di comfort. La sala da giardino è perfettamente buona, e c'è anche una piscina, che è un bel bonus. In generale, ero molto felice di rimanere qui per un periodo prolungato. Tuttavia, ci sono alcuni problemi: la custodia deve avvenire ogni tre giorni, ma in realtà è piuttosto irregolare e imprevedibile; a volte non succede affatto a meno che non lo chiedi attivamente, cosa un po' irritante. C'è un'app per richiedere servizi, ma purtroppo non ha funzionato bene durante il mio soggiorno. La colazione è ok, ma molto basilare e ripetibile. La selezione è stata esattamente la stessa ogni giorno per due settimane, che si stanca rapidamente. In generale, è un buon hotel per un soggiorno più lungo, soprattutto se si valorizza lo spazio e le strutture di autoservizio, ma vi è spazio per migliorare la coerenza del mantenimento e la varietà del colazione.

Potrei perdonare 10 punti per il servizio. Avrei scelto l'hotel con il thermo per festeggiare il mio compleanno con la mia famiglia. Abbiamo arrivato troppo presto, ma abbiamo comunque potuto entrare. Nel ristorante siamo stati serviti molto precoce e amichevole e quando si è accertato che il mio compleanno è prossimo o addirittura decorare un tavolo extra. In generale, il cibo era anche molto buono il termismo era sensazionale. Abbiamo avuto un bel tempo e ringraziarci molto. 

Overall the trip was good. We visited out of season so the hotel was fairly quiet. stayed for 5 nights. Like a few reviewers have commented, we booked a queen/ double bed and upon arrival to our room discovered we'd been given the key to a twin room ( two single beds) however upon being informed of the error by my husband, we were quickly moved to another room that was spacious and had the most comfortable bed that I've slept in, in a long time. Parking wise, because it was out of season we were able to find on street parking with no issue and public transport was easy enough to access near by. We got the train into Dusseldorf and Koln during out visit. The gym is basic but enough if you want a quick workout and the pool is a reasonable size, you just have to watch out for other guests who think it's appropriate to take their phones poolside. The sauna has hot coals and was nice and hot, but the lockers in the ladies changing rooms didn't want to lock and one ate my coins. Food in the restaurant was nicely done but drinks in the bar a little pricey ( but I think most hotels are like that).

La camera era piccola ma pulita, che era buona per un breve soggiorno. Tuttavia, il colazione costava €25 e aveva molto poche opzioni certamente non valeva il prezzo. La piscina era anche molto piccola, più per un rapido divertimento che per il relax. Il hotel è situato nel centro della città, che lo rende conveniente per la vista e la cena. In generale, un soggiorno equo ma troppo costoso per le limitate strutture fornite.

L'ambiente è bello e la colazione è ricca.

Newish Hotel, in a remote location, need a car to get around. The rooms have no climate control, needed to request a fan as it was hot and humid in room. The 'natural pool' was freezing and quite dirty to look at, pointless as not heated in Germany. For a chef hotel, breakfast was average, not consistent, one morning the eggs benedict were great, next morning, totally overcooked and unappealing, Pancakes were aweful. At dinner, service was also inconsistent, forgot the soup, brought it after a long time after main course, just didnt work. We also found it to be very inflexible for a small luxury boutique hotel - they only provided sparkling water in the room, when we asked to switch the bottle to still water, there was poor communication and a charge of 8 euro for the still water? tap water tasted pretty salty and did not want to use that in the coffee machine either. overall pretty average, would not return or recommend
