Sono rimasto qui per 7 giorni, mi ha fatto sentire come una casa. Tutto è buono. Bella roba e spazio pulito. È molto conveniente andare ovunque. Bella stanza di caffè, ma vorrei che quando torno la prossima volta l'hotel potesse offrire colazione.

The motel is fair, nothing to write home about. But they charge you a $50 damage deposit up front, and they TELL you: ”we put it on your card and it's refunded to you when you check out.” Then when you check out, they tell you, ”it will be refunded to you at the end of the day.” Then after a week passes and you haven't received it, you call up and the person on the line (with an attitude because they must field these calls every day) says, ”The deposit can take 10 days to be refunded back to your account.” Hmmm, first it was at check out, then the end of the day, now 10 days??? That seems outright deceiving to me. Certainly there are other places to stay within close proximity to this dive.

When I went to check in the agent told me that I would need to leave a 25 dollar cash deposit as they don't accept credit card deposits. I told her I didn't have 25 dollars as I don't usually carry cash as it is 2022 and pretty much everyone pays with credit card. She called the Manager and he was ok not leaving the cash deposit because I was assigned one of the 'older' rooms. At that point I said, well i'm not really liking being assigned an 'older' room because that probably means dirty and gross. She said no, it was clean just had older furnishings. So I reluctantly accepted this and went to the room. Well to no shock, it was well not just old, but pretty gross. Flies and insects flying all over especially in the bathroom and there was a dead insect on the bed. The room smelled a mix of cleaning solution and stale smoke. I checked the mattress and boxspring and although now bed bugs I could see, they were very dirty and definitely signs of previous infestations. The bathroom had holes in the walls and god knows what lurked inside. So I went to the front desk and they switched my room after I complained. It was slightly better and I guess a refreshed room but still in an overall bad state. The Staff were nice enough.. I have come to expect little from the Motel 6 brand as a whole and this motel basically reflects the company - a motel brand that is only slightly cheaper than other budget options, but with a consistently poor number of dated properties that are falling apart and dirty, more so than the others. This experience and another with the brand just turned me off it completely. Their Customer Service is poor. The staff are generally friendly, but there is little they can do because they don't get the support of Management to provide a good Customer Service experience. Motel 6 brand needs new leadership at the top - its as dated as its properties.

We arrived with two adults, two children and two dogs. Needless to say, the manager had some tools on her bell cart and we asked if we could borrow it to bring all of our stuff inside. Sam, the day manager, told us no and never offered the one she was using. Then they only gave us one room key. There was no free breakfast. There were zero towels in the pool area. After swimming, I wanted to bathe my children. There was two bars of soap in the room. When we asked for shampoo and conditioner, they wanted to charge us $2.50 a bottle! We called corporate and they even called it complimentary, but it’s up to the owners discretion. When we called the night manager out on it, she said it isn’t the owners discretion, it was Motel 6’s, and their hands were tied. My wife went back to the front desk to ask what time the manager, Sam, comes in the morning. And she caught the two front ladies in back complaining, saying very rude things about us, and took it to the point of threatening to call the cops on us! She asked them if they were done gossiping and would actually help their customers. They were very rude in saying what do you want. She said forget it. This is an absolute joke, we have never been treated this way. She even eventually apologized to them for being that upset, but they did not care whatsoever! In the morning, the manager Sam, told us it was our fault that the staff was rude because we were rude to start. In reality, it was the opposite! We asked about simple items and things and every response was extremely rude, short and they acted like we were inconveniencing them! We have been here multiple times before and have loved every stay when it was the Americas Best Inn. Now it’s Motel 6, but sadly and unfortunately the same staff. Just now rude. We cancelled our second night and stayed at a different hotel. We are extremely disappointed and will never return again. I would highly recommend finding a different hotel! Oh, and this hotel has been under construction for the past few years because they are trying to fix it themselves. There’s plaster dust in the hallway floors, tools laying around in the lobby, the siding has never been completed. It tells me they don’t hire contractors, is anything up to code? Makes me wonder….
