Creta, Grecia: hotel pet friendly

We stayed at May Hotel for two nights before flying back to Germany, and overall we had a pleasant stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we really appreciated being allowed to check in early. We booked the half-board option, and both the breakfast and dinner were good. Breakfast offered a nice variety of choices, and dinner was tasty with enough selection. The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. The hotel also has a gym with enough equipment for a basic workout, which was a nice bonus during our stay. The hotel itself is comfortable, although the rooms and facilities feel a bit outdated and could benefit from some renovation. The location is also not the most convenient, as there is no direct beach access—you’ll need to walk a few minutes to reach the beach. Overall, it’s a good value for money with excellent service, comfortable rooms, decent food, and useful amenities. With some modernization and a more convenient beach location, it would easily be an even better stay.

We stayed here with my mom for one night, and we were absolutely delighted with this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we knew it was special. The location is perfect—set in a peaceful village, just a one-minute walk to a wide, spacious beach with easy access to the water. The room was spotless, freshly renovated, and even smelled pleasant. We had a large balcony with a table, and everything was so clean that when we wiped the table, there wasn’t even a trace of dust. The attention to detail in the cleaning was truly impressive. The owner was wonderful to meet—so kind, welcoming, and generous. He treated us to fresh fruit and shared many helpful tips about the area, making our stay feel extra personal and warm. Breakfast was another highlight: homemade, delicious, and prepared with so much care. This hotel completely won us over—the location, the atmosphere, the hospitality, everything was perfect. We already dream of coming back and staying longer.

La spiaggia è piccola ma molto buona, bella sabbia morbida, protetta dal vento, acqua trasparente. Uno per colazione e cena sembra una cantina con troppo numero di turisti pacchetti non un piacevole tempo di spendere lì E questo è un vero peccato che l'hotel non ha solo colazione. Le camere con vista sulla montagna non hanno vista solo sulle piante davanti agli hotel , tutte le montagne sono chiuse dai bushe , se si prenota questa categoria di camere chiede il piano più alto

Dear all. It is a beautiful House with very kind and very friendly Owner. Very thoughtful and caring about our needs. We had a Beautiful view to the seaside. We enjoyed it very much to stay there in our holidays. And although we were there just for a few days, it was very relaxing. We are looking forward to coming back. The island is very beautiful and a good place for Hollidays and to relax. We love it.

Beautiful newly renovated hotel with a modern and relaxing atmosphere. The new team is doing an amazing job, everything was very well organized and welcoming. The rooms were spotless, the food was excellent, and all the staff were wonderful throughout our stay. A special thank you to Mara, who was especially helpful and made our experience even better. We would definitely come back!

Il servizio è stato ottimo, ne sono grato. Il bollitore non funzionava, ma la signora delle pulizie a cui ho chiesto aiuto lo ha sostituito immediatamente. La colazione era eccellente, con un'ampia scelta al buffet. La posizione è fantastica, proprio sopra il porto. Purtroppo, ci sono anche camere senza vista e al piano terra. Le camere sul tetto offrono una splendida vista panoramica sul mare. L'hotel è composto da due edifici. Non ho notato molto del personale, ma sembravano abbastanza gentili. Non c'è un servizio navetta per l'aeroporto, ma l'hotel è facilmente raggiungibile con i mezzi pubblici.

For the price of our stay it was well worth it!! Food was good and the all inclusive drinks were a big hit! There was entertainment on one of the nights we were there aswell! The pool was standard but a great vibe :) our room had a great view -one of the best in the resort 👌
