motel a Caloundra

I stayed at the Golden Beach motor inn with my elderly father while visiting the area. I was met at reception by the very friendly hostess Desleigh who explained details of the accommodations and the area and was very helpful. Our room was spotlessly clean. It was upstairs and had a double bed and a single bed. There was a fridge, tea and coffee provisions and a tv. The bathroom was modern and equipped with soap and shampoo. The room was air conditioned. There is a swimming pool and undercover parking. Then motel was fully booked the night we stayed, but it was quiet and we slept really well. Its a short walk to downtown Caloundra, where there are lots of restaurants. There is an Aldi and a pub a very short distance away, and a Woolworths and bottle shop slightly further (but still walking distance). This is a basic motel, not a 5 star resort, but if you set you expectations accordingly we found it a great place to stay. I recommend it and really enjoyed staying there.

La stanza era mal presentata al mio arrivo. C'era un tessuto usato e un altro rubinetto sotto il letto, i ventilatori di soffitto e i ventilatori di scarico del bagno erano molto polverosi, le sedie del tubo (pubblicate come un divano) erano state indossate e incomode con coperte di tessuto sopra di loro, che erano inclinate e mal montate. La pulizia sotto e intorno a loro sembrava non essere stata effettuata per un po’, proprio come sotto il letto; e neanche la tavola di cambio della microonde era stata pulita prima che arrivassi. La mattina dopo che ho camminato intorno alla città e al mare, ho incontrato il personale di pulizia e di gestione. La signora, era il mio contatto al momento della prenotazione. Quando ho parlato della mia insoddisfazione per la pulizia, lei era scusata, ma il pulitore maschile che la aiutava era molto brutto e affrontato, e ha detto che la pulizia era solo una volta al mese sotto i letti. Avrei pagato per due notti di alloggio con l'opzione di estensione se il tempo era cattivo (come guidavo la moto) Dopo le questioni sopra citate, ho deciso di uscire presto, perdere il mio giorno extra, e trovare un alloggio alternativo. Non consiglierei il City Centre Motel a Caloundra a nessuno e suggerire che il Cleaner maschile (o qualunque cosa sia) richiede un sacco di formazione nelle relazioni con i clienti e in come pulire correttamente una stanza di motel.

I travelled down from Noosa. Caught the 620 bus, then transferred to the 600 bus. Passed the ticket inspection, from the stab proof vest inspectors and was dropped at the bus stop, right outside the hotel. Excellent. I arrived far too early, which was alright, I grabbed a few beers from the bottle store that was next to the hotel, went straight down to the beach and the park, which was the reason I was there in the first place, and went exploring. There is a resturant, and a couple of stores that sell food next door. The rooms were a good size, beds comfortable. and the pool was just outside. The hotel is more for those with vehicles, so I came as a surprise, catching a bus. Even asking for a taxi to take me to the airport, seemed an alien experience, and given that the taxi failed to appear for 30 minutes while I stood outside the hotel at 6am in the morning. Well I sorted it. All good. All part of the experience.

Booked on last minute and couldnt be happier. Was a bit worried when i first arrived but as soon as i checked I knew i had made the right decision. Room was clean and pool was really nice to go in at end of a hot day. Would stay here again ...........

The place was clean. Street parking was the only drawback

We spent seven nights at the Rumba resort in August 24. It was our first visit to the Sunshine Coast and the Rumba resort was the perfect place to stay. The apartment was really well appointed with two bathrooms a full laundry and kitchen, dining and living areas and a balcony. It was perfect as we self-catered most days. The resort had three pools, a heated lap pool (25 degrees), a large separate spa pool plus an unheated pool and spa. We used the lap pool everyday it was fabulous. The complimentary filter coffee and muffins each morning in the bar area is a lovely addition too. We enjoyed happy hour at the bar and the acoustic entertainers on Friday & Saturday were great. The resort location is really good overlooking the beach with walking access to multiple restaurants. We would recommend Rumba for a great place to stay and explore the Sunshine Coast which is what we did.

Stayed for 7 nights with my sister. Walking distance to everything. McDonald's, KFC, Aldi, and chemist across the road, Dan Murphy and Woolworths next door. Golden beach 5 mins walk, centre of Caloundra and beach 10 mins walk. Room clean and tidy with outside table and chairs for 2 overlooking lovely pool which also has 2 covered picnic table and chair settings and a BBQ. Staff were lovely... especially housekeeping who were very helpful. Beds were comfortable, shower was amazing. Room was generally quiet apart from the occasional heavy footed guests in the room above us. Tavern was handy for meals, which were lovely (dinner there 3 nights) and a good price ( guests staying also get 10% off meals). Only downer was the WiFi, terrible in the room ( actually got better reception from the hotel while sitting at McDonald's over the road), and trying to watch Netflix after 10am was a waste of time as it just kept dropping out. Would definitely stay again.

Ho dovuto fare il check-in fuori orario, Google mi ha inviato via email tutti i dettagli ed è stato un processo semplice e facile.

L'hotel dispone di un parco giochi per bambini, una piscina e un parco acquatico. Molto adatto per giocare con i bambini. L'opposto è WWS, quindi è facile fare acquisti. Ho prenotato una camera con due camere da letto, una senza aria condizionata, un po' calda d'estate

Situato nel centro della città, sulla spiaggia, nel centro della città, vista del deserto e delle montagne! Come unico! Facile camminare a ristoranti di sera e shopping durante il giorno. Il personale era molto bello e ospitato il nostro camper per parcheggio, perché era troppo alto per andare in parcheggio sotterraneo, molto comodo camera, letto re, camera da letto separata e lavanderia.
