Abbiamo soggiornato al Mt. Fuji View Onsen Ooike Hotel per quattro giorni e tre notti e, nel complesso, è stata un'esperienza meravigliosa. Abbiamo prenotato una camera giapponese con tatami al terzo piano, con vista diretta sul Monte Fuji: svegliarsi con quel panorama ogni mattina è stato assolutamente mozzafiato. La camera era pulita, accogliente e autenticamente giapponese. L'hotel ha due onsen: uno all'ultimo piano e uno al piano terra. Entrambi erano puliti, silenziosi e rilassanti. Da notare che sono separati per genere. Non c'era mai molta gente durante la nostra visita. La colazione era deliziosa e varia, con molte opzioni per iniziare bene la giornata. L'hotel ha anche un negozio di souvenir al primo piano a prezzi ragionevoli: avrei voluto comprarne di più! Un vantaggio pratico è stata la lavanderia. Le lavatrici eseguono un ciclo di disinfezione prima di ogni lavaggio, il che ci è sembrato molto igienico. Costa 400 yen a lavaggio e in loco è presente un cambiamonete. Sebbene il prezzo sia leggermente più alto, è ragionevole rispetto ad altri hotel onsen privati ​​di lusso della zona. Ideale per famiglie o coppie in cerca di un soggiorno tranquillo, panoramico e confortevole vicino al Monte Fuji. Altamente consigliato per: famiglie, coppie, amanti della vista sul Fuji e degli onsen.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was very clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, which made it easy to relax after a long day. One of the best things about this place is its location—it’s just a short walk from the train station, making it extremely convenient for getting around the city. The staff were polite and helpful, and check-in was quick and smooth. Even though it’s close to the station, the room was quiet and peaceful at night. Overall, this hotel is a great choice if you’re looking for a clean, convenient, and hassle-free stay. I would definitely come back again.

Hotel in stile giapponese. Un po' vecchio e fuori moda, ma lo trovo affascinante, con tatami, futon e armadio come quelli dove dorme Doraemon. Se arrivate alla stazione dopo le 15:00, potete chiamare l'hotel per un servizio di trasferimento gratuito, che dura solo 10-15 minuti. Avevamo una camera al 10° piano, quindi bisogna camminare un po' dall'edificio principale alla nostra camera, ma lì va bene, con una splendida vista sul Fuji e sul lago. La camera era carina, in stile giapponese, come se avessi mai letto nei manga. La nostra tariffa includeva colazione e cena. Poi ci hanno organizzato il tutto all'orario che preferivamo. Cibo eccellente e servizio superlativo! Anche se parlano solo giapponese al 99%, il servizio è straordinario. Non perdetevi nemmeno l'onsen, un'esperienza fantastica per fare il bagno con vista. Offrono anche un servizio navetta gratuito per la stazione ferroviaria, basta chiedere alla reception.

Non c'è rimpianto di scegliere questo hotel! Vista senza ostacoli del MT Fuji. È possibile immaginare guardare questa bella vista dalla stanza dell'ur. I booked this hotel because the promotion made it seem luxurious, but the surroundings feel odd, almost like all the trees have been removed by purpose, littered with dry leaves and fallen branches. It feels dirty and poorly cared for. I was expecting a neatly landscaped area with grass and trees, but instead, the outside feels like a barren, lifeless space. That said, the inside of the room looks very good. The accommodation consists of two separate large caravan‑style rooms. They are not very spacious, but they are sufficient for a family of four. One of the rooms has slightly less living space because it includes a larger bathroom, with a full‑size bathtub. This is something you rarely find in Tokyo, where most bathtubs are quite small, so this was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, we struggled with the bathtub controls as it was written in Japanese, we couldn't use it after all. Also, the heating system are all labeled in Japanese, and there were no clear instructions in English. As a result, we didn’t figure out how to use the heating until the second night. We stayed for two nights in total. There is an outdoor spa area, which is interesting and enjoyable. We used it and found it quite good, although it is small. It works best for two people, three is a tight squeeze, and four would be uncomfortable. The sauna is decent and operates daily. Breakfast is served at set times rather than as a buffet, likely because the hotel only has 14 rooms. Guests must choose a time slot, such as 7:00, 7:30, 8:00, 8:30. We chose 8:30. Breakfast is a set menu rather than self‑service. Each morning includes a starter, a main dish, and some small item to finish, well enough for us. The first day was Japanese‑style, with a rice‑based dish. The second day was Western‑style, with a sandwich as the main course and fried eggs with pork belly. The food tasted good, but we would have appreciated more water. We did not ask for refills, as staff left the area after serving. Finding the hotel is a bit difficult. The entrance sign is blocked by a car park sign, making it very easy to miss. You need to drive very slowly, or you will pass it without realising it. We spent several minutes searching before realising this was the place. Be prepared to see a car park with two signs, where one directly blocks the hotel’s entrance sign.

An Unexpected Gem – One of the Best Resorts We’ve Ever Stayed At We booked this resort near Mount Fuji very late, and we were really worried because almost everything was already sold out. But it turned out to be one of the most wonderful stays we’ve ever had on any of our trips to Japan. The resort has several staff members who speak Vietnamese, and they helped us so much. Every time we needed to go somewhere, the shuttle bus took us to the station—even the times when I requested it late without booking an hour in advance, they still tried their best to arrange a pickup. Their kindness truly showed how much they care about their guests. From the driver to the front desk to the restaurant staff, everyone was incredibly warm, friendly, and always smiling. They were genuinely adorable and made us feel so welcomed. Our room was a huge surprise: a massive apartment-style space with four beds even though there were only two of us, plus two bathrooms. Everything was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The resort is located in a large forest, so the moment you step inside, you can smell the gentle scent of pine wood everywhere. The atmosphere feels grounding and refreshing—as if the Earth itself is recharging you. One of the best parts is that they have dedicated areas for pets. I got to play with some of the guests’ pets, and it was honestly such a sweet experience. Breakfast was delicious every morning, in a very authentic Japanese style. I went down for breakfast every day, and the dining area has a beautiful view of Mount Fuji—I even recorded some stunning videos there. I never imagined I would be able to book a resort this amazing. It seems like it has been operating for many years, with a rustic and warm charm that I absolutely fell in love with. Down at the reception area, they also sell all kinds of Mount Fuji souvenirs. When you’re out sightseeing in the Fuji area, you tend to buy a lot of souvenirs and snacks, which makes your bags very heavy—but the resort sells everything right there. I compared the prices, and they were actually much cheaper than the tourist spots, so we bought all our gifts there. Super convenient! I genuinely want to come back to this resort for future trips. It is one of the best places I have ever stayed, and I absolutely adore it. Highly, highly recommended.

Una notte, due pasti, vasca da bagno all'aperto, purtroppo quel giorno era nuvoloso e non si poteva vedere il Monte Fuji dalla terrazza con vista a 180 gradi, il che è diventato un po' costoso per questo soggiorno. La posizione è buona. Ricordate di rimanere in una stanza con vista sul Fuji Mt e sul Lago. Presto al mattino vedrete la bella vista davanti alla finestra della stanza. Pulizia è ok. La colazione non ha troppo scelta, ma avere la è ok, accettabile.

Due punti molto positivi: posizione e servizio del personale. La posizione è perfetta, basta uscire e ci si ritrova in riva al lago. Anche le fermate degli autobus per le linee rossa e verde, e il bus turistico sono proprio di fronte. L'hotel è molto vecchio. Bagni senza bidet, materassi sottili. Ma il personale è stato molto disponibile. La navetta dell'hotel è disponibile dalle 15:00 alle 18:00 per il prelievo dalla stazione, ma è necessario chiamarli. La navetta mattutina è disponibile per la stazione.
