We stayed for one night during our layover. The hotel itself is nice, centrally located. We got upgraded to a suite as per our elite status, and we also got both breakfast and happy hour at the lounge. The room is spacious and clean, the lounge is nicely maintained with a good view of the city. Breakfast was of a decent selection, your standard fruits, eggs, toasts, smoked salmon etc. The less than ideal experience was when we asked for bottle opener to open our sparkling water. We called reception around 5 mins to 11PM, they transferred us to in room dining, took the guy a few good minutes before picking up, then 10 mins passed without showing up to our room. We called in room dining again, this time no answer, we then called reception, they tried in room dining and no one answered, then offered to personally check it out himself, but by that point my husband managed to open the bottle by himself after multiple attempts with no proper tools. Then around 11:30pm, our room phone rang a few times, woke me and my husband up from trying to rest from a long international flight, the line dropped right after I picked up. On the day of check out, we went out for a coffee before the car came to take us to the airport. The valet lady outside asked whether we needed directions, which was nice and observant on her part. We’ve got quite a few heavy bags, the valet team helped me load all of them and communicated with the driver in Spanish to help better arrange our bags while my husband went to the room to grab the rest of our items, they had a smile on the whole time and were very friendly, we also had a nice short conversation.
