Customer service is extremely poor, rude and some staff have forgotten the job they are in. A good training session to make them realise that the customer is king and without them no job!!! For that reason I would not stay again. Was not made to feel welcome.

We loved our stay and found all staff polite, friendly and professional. A real credit to the hotel and they are very knowledgeable about their jobs and the food and wine they serve. Amazing that they could also explain everything so accurately in English too! Particular mention of the sixteen year old lad serving us dinner - friendly, engaging and clearly passionate about a career in fine dining. We were super impressed by his hard working attitude! The rooms were clean and the whole place full of character. Great location near the station. Overall a memorable stay and I'm sure we'll be back. Thank you.

This hotel would be one of the best stops we have had on all our travels! Staff were amazing and the food is a gourmet paradise . The rest of the Netherlands needs to pay them a visit it is amazing. Rooms excellent location is excellent staff excellent and food excellent!

This is our second time in the hotel. It is a beautiful building, and has beautiful rooms, walking distance of the station and the center, parking is no problem especially if you use a parking app. This time we had no dinner; just breakfast.
What we don’t like are the extremely soft beds, even if you sit on the edge you sink down and the top matras slides off. Never had this kind of extremely soft beds, before you go to sleep you have to put the top matras back on the center of the bed.
The breakfast is special made breakfast, but for our liking to heavy (fat) and you can’t have any other type of breakfast. Take it or leave it.

We booked the Zutphen City arrangement to great satisfaction. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted with coffee and a delicious pastry. Our room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The city center of Zutphen is walkable from the hotel and offers plenty of terraces and shopping possibilities. Upon return we enjoyed a 6-course fine dining. Staff is very friendly. The no-nonsense spirit of the owners - Marieke (Maître d'Hôtel) and Niels (Chef) - is reflecting on the team, who are very knowledgeable about all dishes, very service-minded, with the capacity to adjust customs in line with the guests. Michelin star potential!

In general, it was great!
The hotel and restaurant are gorgeous and the rooms are spacious. The location is terrific too. The only thing I think they should really work on is having nicer pillows in the room. The ones they have are really thick and lumpy.

Small hotel, connected to a restaurant. We found the rooms very cosy. Good work desk. Big tv, double bed (the boxspring in our room seemed to have passed his expiry date though) Great rain shower, and good bathroom, separate toilet. Small fridge in the room. Biggest disadvantage no own parking space, there s public paying parking (but max 4 hours) or parking at the nearby station. But overall a very nice, warm room in a quiet environment.

Excellent and beautiful hotel. Great restoration that stays true to period. Very clean. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. The restaurant is fine dining with fixed price and chef choice. The location is great and centrally located.
