It seems clear to me that the quality of customer service in travel has greatly deteriorated in the last three years. I understand that service providers have trouble finding and retaining people and the ones they have often don’t seem to take pride in their work. Sadly, I’ve come to accept this as the “new normal.” Which is why our recent three-night stay at the Park Hyatt in Zurich was such a welcome surprise. Not only was our room clean and comfortable but the service we received, from start to finish, was efficient and personal. Just a few examples: We had a flight delay and airport transfer difficulty arriving to Zurich and did not get to the hotel until after 1:00. The gentleman working the front desk who checked us in, got us waters, helped with our bags and personally escorted us to our rooms. He was also working the next night when we returned to the hotel after dinner. He spotted us coming through the lobby and literally ran over from the front desk, greeted us by name and asked if our room was acceptable and if there was anything he could do for us. The housekeeping staff are a bunch of ninjas. You never saw their carts in the hall but we’d leave in the morning and when we returned in the afternoon the room was made up. Perfectly. We’d leave for dinner and when we returned the room was turned down. Perfectly. We had drinks the first night at the Onyx Bar. When we returned the next night, the bartender remembered both our names and our drinks. We interacted on several occasions with the daytime concierge. I wish I remembered his name. It wasn’t just that he was knowledgeable about Zurich and responded immediately to our requests. He acted like speaking to us was the absolute highlight of his day. I know these are all little things but they added up to a wonderful stay. Plus, the hotel couldn’t be more conveniently located. Staying at the Park was a luxury item for us but, let’s face it, traveling anywhere in Switzerland is a luxury item. I would return to the Park for their level of personal service in a minute.

ATTENZIONE: TOTALMENTE DA EVITARE!! Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo trascorso una sola notte in una suite presso questo Hotel. Al nostro rientro a casa, dopo due ore che avevamo già lasciato la stanza, ci arriva un’email dove ci accusano di aver rotto una lampada con tanto di fattura dell’hotel già pronta (era domenica). In oltre l’addebito che volevano farci per la rottura della lampada (che ammonta a ben 800 fr) non è stato accompagnato con una fattura originale della lampada stessa, quindi non sappiamo tutt’ora se la lampada costasse davvero quei soldi! Noi, ignari di tutto siccome la lampada non è stata rotta da noi, rispondiamo all’email opponendoci a qualsiasi tipo di addebito e spiegando il disagio, cerchiamo di metterci in contatto con la struttura telefonicamente, ma la persona che ha risposto non era competente a riguardo e ci ha detto che saremmo stati richiamati il giorno dopo dalla responsabile. Il giorno dopo nessuno si è fatto sentire per telefono, al contrario hanno risposto alla nostra email ribadendo il fatto che fossimo stati noi a rompere la lampada e che sarebbero stati contenti se li avessimo informati al momento del ceckout di questo danno. Ora, noi siamo persone oneste e non vedo il motivo di dovercene andare da un Hotel senza dire nulla di un danno che avrebbero trovato subito dopo la nostra partenza! Per di più, le foto della lampada rotta che ci hanno inviato, mostravano i vetri della lampada in bella vista sul divanetto che era sottostante alla lampada stessa. Che persona se ne va via da un Hotel, cercando di fare i furbi e quindi rompendo una lampada, senza dire niente e poi lascia i vetri in bella vista? Ci hanno sottratto i soldi direttamente dal conto, senza aspettare che informassimo la nostra assicurazione, sono risaliti alla carta di credito senza che nemmeno noi, i proprietari, gli avessimo mai dato il consenso e la carta in mano, ma l’abbiamo soltanto utilizzata per pagare il posteggio dell’Hotel, appoggiandola sull’apparecchio delle carte di credito. Una volta riusciti a metterci in contatto con la responsabile, quest’ultima ci ha detto che non sapeva niente dell’addebito già avvenuto, seppur era proprio lei ad inviarci le email accusatorie. Evitate questo posto se non volete vivere questo disagio che non auguriamo a nessuno: essere accusati per qualcosa che non è stato fatto da voi e senza nessun tipo di ascolto da parte del personale, per di più con la sorpresa di svegliarvi il giorno dopo con -800 fr dal vostro conto bancario! DA EVITARE!

I had a booking at Hotel California in July 2023 and they refused to let us check in to our room saying that we should pay for another room for my baby of 1 year and kid of 5 year although their booking policy clearly states that kids below 6 are welcomed and not considered as adults and even we have previously requested an extra bed/crib and they confirmed through booking. Our booking was fully paid in advance and they refused to help us and they were very rude and kept shouting at us and talked in a very rude way and i even asked them to check in the double room with my baby to change the diaper and that my husband will go for another hotel with my kid and they even refused!!! We asked to book another room for 1 night till we see another hotel on the second day and they even refused!!!! The chief called us and she was raising her voice and talking in a rude way and said they choose their customers and that the policy is common sense!!!! When i asked what does it mean concerning kids, she said it means that they don’t pay city tax!!!! And that she doesn’t care for the policy written and if kids are considered persons they should have a room like adults!!! And this is common sense!!! I asked if she can let her kids of 5 and 1 year alone in a room in a different country she said no she won’t but she wants us to do so!!! I asked to make the reservation for two rooms for one night and they even refused and said either to make two rooms for two nights or to leave!!!! And finally they told us that they won’t give us the room and they won’t talk to us as they have work!!!! We told them we r customers and this is also work and they just left us!!!!!! As they said they won’t talk to us about hundreds of euros while they have other important customers paying thousands and that talking to us is a waste of time and they just left us and went downstairs to the restaurant!!! Also, there was clear racism as the receptionist said you are here in Switzerland not in Egypt not in turkey not in the middle east we don’t welcome you here we have more important guests!!!!! While we are traveling the world as a family and paying for this!!! and it’s clearly that she never visited any other country to judge anyone!!! Or even to learn good English in order to be able to communicate with their important guests as she says and to stop interrupting everyone without understanding anything as she has a language barrier and not aware at all of how to deal with customers!!!! Cleary they have no ethics nor professionalism!!! We left the hotel and we booked a double room in another hotel in the same are and they were so friendly and helped us a lot unlike the hotel we originally booked for!!!!! After we contacted booking for the case and requested the full refund and upon communicating with the hotel, they came back to us stating that the hotel claims that we damaged a phone during our stay and that they want 50 euros!!!!! We replied that this is completely unacceptable and

L'alloggio è moderno e molto pulito, la posizione è grande, vicino a molti posti a piedi e anche facile accesso ai trasporti pubblici. La cosa più impressionante è stata la bella colazione servita nella stanza, che il mio bambino di due anni avrebbe guardato in guardia ogni mattina. Il personale era amichevole e molto competente. Non potevo raccomandarli abbastanza! Se c'era una piccola cosa da dire, sarebbe di aggiungere i blocchi di rotolamento nella finestra della camera da letto, hanno finestre di blocco nella sala da letto, ma sarebbe stato grande avere la camera da letto più oscura, tuttavia questo è una cosa molto piccola rispetto alla servizio eccellente offerto.

Hotel Centrale, stanze calde e pulite, staff gentile e disponile. Servizio tè/caffè solubile gratuito. Colazione poco variegata. Come dolci solo piccoli cornetti da farcire e piccoli muffin. Non erano presenti salumi da accompagnare al pane. Bagno in camera un po' maleodorante. Prezzo caro rispetto ad altri hotel in zona.

L'hotel è situato proprio davanti alla stazione centrale principale, dietro l'hotel è la cintura commerciale e la vecchia città dove si può camminare per vedere i vari edifici architettonici. Il personale era utile, soprattutto alla mattina presto, per portarmi un taxi all'aeroporto. Il personale di pulizia riempie i bagni ogni giorno senza fallire. È un ottimo luogo di alloggio e soggiorno a Zurigo.

Buon rapporto qualità prezzo rispetto ad altri Aveva un bagno privato che altri dello stesso prezzo no. Stanza molto calda, grandi finestre che potresti aprire. Tende e persiane. Un po' di rumore proveniente dalla strada (ero al 1° piano) non è un grosso problema. Buona area lounge / reception se è necessario lavorare, ecc. Potrei noleggiare un adattatore che è stata un'ottima notizia! A soli 10 minuti a piedi dalla stazione HB, non in una zona turistica di per sé, ma vicino al fiume ecc Vicino ad alcuni fantastici ristoranti vegani!

la doccia era nella stanza e non nel bagno. la porta del bagno (che conteneva solo il wc) non si può chiudere. mi hanno inviato un link per il pagamento del soggiorno su loro sito, il giorno prima del check-in, che ho usato per pagare l'intera prenotazione: al checkin hanno provato a farmi pagare nuovamente la tassa di soggiorno, poi l'intera prenotazione. 2 stanze facevano checkout dopo 3 notti e 2 stanze dopo 4 notti: hanno segnato male le stanze e obbligato le persone di una stanza che faceva 4 notti a traslocare in un'altra stanza per l'ultima notte perché la avevano affidata ad altri ospiti (avevo preventivamente mandato elenco ospiti suddiviso per stanze e riportando dati della prenotazione e periodo di pernottamento). comodo il microonde nella hall per riscaldare i propri pasti e mangiare li. la fermata del tram è proprio di fronte all'ingresso dell'albergo.
