L'hotel è a cento metri dalla stazione principale Ambiente della stanza: non molto nuovo, ma completamente accettabile, la decorazione è relativamente delicata. Il minibar e la cena sono gratuiti (eccetto bevande alcoliche/acqua alcolizzata) Servizio: cercare l'agente di contatto di Trip.com in anticipo, spero che la risposta sia che se c'è una stanza vuota, possiamo stare in anticipo. Siamo arrivati all'hotel alle 10:30 di mattina. It seems clear to me that the quality of customer service in travel has greatly deteriorated in the last three years. I understand that service providers have trouble finding and retaining people and the ones they have often don’t seem to take pride in their work. Sadly, I’ve come to accept this as the “new normal.” Which is why our recent three-night stay at the Park Hyatt in Zurich was such a welcome surprise. Not only was our room clean and comfortable but the service we received, from start to finish, was efficient and personal. Just a few examples: We had a flight delay and airport transfer difficulty arriving to Zurich and did not get to the hotel until after 1:00. The gentleman working the front desk who checked us in, got us waters, helped with our bags and personally escorted us to our rooms. He was also working the next night when we returned to the hotel after dinner. He spotted us coming through the lobby and literally ran over from the front desk, greeted us by name and asked if our room was acceptable and if there was anything he could do for us. The housekeeping staff are a bunch of ninjas. You never saw their carts in the hall but we’d leave in the morning and when we returned in the afternoon the room was made up. Perfectly. We’d leave for dinner and when we returned the room was turned down. Perfectly. We had drinks the first night at the Onyx Bar. When we returned the next night, the bartender remembered both our names and our drinks. We interacted on several occasions with the daytime concierge. I wish I remembered his name. It wasn’t just that he was knowledgeable about Zurich and responded immediately to our requests. He acted like speaking to us was the absolute highlight of his day. I know these are all little things but they added up to a wonderful stay. Plus, the hotel couldn’t be more conveniently located. Staying at the Park was a luxury item for us but, let’s face it, traveling anywhere in Switzerland is a luxury item. I would return to the Park for their level of personal service in a minute.

The hotel was quite strange. Upon arrival there was no staff and we had to do self check in. We were a group of 5 people with 3 rooms. We were let into the hotel via the intercom. The computer at the desk required a booking reference or QR code. Our hotel had been booked through a travel agent and we hadn’t been provided with either. So instead we had to manually input each persons details into the computer. This took absolutely ages! After travelling for quite a long time this was the last thing we wanted to spend time doing! The rooms were fairly compact, especially the bathroom. The hotel seems to have spent a lot of money on branded items in the rooms including a yoga matt and other random things - it would be better to have more staff in my opinion! The beds were very comfy though and an actual double bed instead of two singles pushed together. There was also a coffee machine in the room. Breakfast was very basic and seemed understaffed as a lot of things had run out. Again for check out there was no staff at the desk do we had to self check out via the emailed invoice - this didn’t work as we had to pay the city tax so I used the phone at the desk to do this. The location of the hotel is a bit out of the centre but is easily accessed (if you have luggage) using the number 7 tram at the main railway station otherwise it is walkable. Have given this 3 stars due to the lack of staff and it being so impersonal!

Il hotel è stato dipinto e riparato, quindi è pulito e moderno. Quando sono tornato da cena nella mia stanza, ho scoperto che era piena di volanti e di altri bug - sbattuto in tutto il tetto della camera da letto e del bagno e in fondo alle pareti. Il mio bacino era pieno di bug, come il sedile e anche la copertura del letto. E' stato 2300 e ho ordinato la ricezione per chiedere di fare il pulsante volante per affrontare il problema. Mi ha detto che mi avrebbe chiamato. Ho aspettato 20 minuti. Nessuno mi ha chiamato. Ho chiamato di nuovo. Ha detto che era con i clienti e sarebbe venuto a trovarsi. Ho aspettato altri 10 minuti e nessuno è venuto. Ho camminato verso la ricezione, non c'è personale lì. Ho chiamato di nuovo. Mi ha detto che nessuno era nella mia stanza. Poi ha capito che era in un altro hotel svizzero Fassbind e che era stato in servizio telefonico. Mi ha detto che non c'era nessun personale in hotel per la notte, ma non c'era neanche un insetto spray. Quindi se non hai personale in servizio - che è il proprietario mi dice una realtà economica di carenze del personale dell'hotel svizzero, così possono assumere uno. (Forse li pagano di più???) Ho passato la notte con insetti e bug che cadono sul tetto.Fortunatamente non ho paura di bug, ma non ho apprezzato i morsi di insetti. Ho e-mailato il proprietario della catena e mi ha dato due lezioni di buon auspicio (un'impostazione strana del cliente per essere onesti) una sulle carenze di personale in Europa e la seconda sulla presenza di insetti nella sua vita. Non mi interessa nessuna di queste questioni - mi interessa che una compagnia prenda i miei soldi e non riesco a dormire una notte quando la questione è assolutamente evitabile. PUTA INSECTO SPRAGA NELLA TUA BUG RIDDEN Room! Ma ehi, dubito che si interessano alle mie opinioni. I clienti vengono e vanno.Non avere il senso che hanno investito nel mantenerli.

I had a booking at Hotel California in July 2023 and they refused to let us check in to our room saying that we should pay for another room for my baby of 1 year and kid of 5 year although their booking policy clearly states that kids below 6 are welcomed and not considered as adults and even we have previously requested an extra bed/crib and they confirmed through booking. Our booking was fully paid in advance and they refused to help us and they were very rude and kept shouting at us and talked in a very rude way and i even asked them to check in the double room with my baby to change the diaper and that my husband will go for another hotel with my kid and they even refused!!! We asked to book another room for 1 night till we see another hotel on the second day and they even refused!!!! The chief called us and she was raising her voice and talking in a rude way and said they choose their customers and that the policy is common sense!!!! When i asked what does it mean concerning kids, she said it means that they don’t pay city tax!!!! And that she doesn’t care for the policy written and if kids are considered persons they should have a room like adults!!! And this is common sense!!! I asked if she can let her kids of 5 and 1 year alone in a room in a different country she said no she won’t but she wants us to do so!!! I asked to make the reservation for two rooms for one night and they even refused and said either to make two rooms for two nights or to leave!!!! And finally they told us that they won’t give us the room and they won’t talk to us as they have work!!!! We told them we r customers and this is also work and they just left us!!!!!! As they said they won’t talk to us about hundreds of euros while they have other important customers paying thousands and that talking to us is a waste of time and they just left us and went downstairs to the restaurant!!! Also, there was clear racism as the receptionist said you are here in Switzerland not in Egypt not in turkey not in the middle east we don’t welcome you here we have more important guests!!!!! While we are traveling the world as a family and paying for this!!! and it’s clearly that she never visited any other country to judge anyone!!! Or even to learn good English in order to be able to communicate with their important guests as she says and to stop interrupting everyone without understanding anything as she has a language barrier and not aware at all of how to deal with customers!!!! Cleary they have no ethics nor professionalism!!! We left the hotel and we booked a double room in another hotel in the same are and they were so friendly and helped us a lot unlike the hotel we originally booked for!!!!! After we contacted booking for the case and requested the full refund and upon communicating with the hotel, they came back to us stating that the hotel claims that we damaged a phone during our stay and that they want 50 euros!!!!! We replied that this is completely unacceptable and

A lovely location near restaurants and shops. The staff at this hotel were lovely and very helpful from the reception to housekeeping to the lady at breakfast. The rooms were well appointed and very clean. They had opening windows, air conditioning and a mini bar. They organised transport to the airport. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Hotel nella parte della città’ vecchia dì Zurigo. Bellissima atmosfera. Hall piccola e pochi spazi ampi per condivisione. Camera per tre persone molto ampia e confortevole. Kit del bagno perfetto con anche la lima unghie. Materasso scomodo molto rigido e cuscino troppo morbido. Colazione da rivedere molto essenziale. Si svolge nel locale del ristorante dell’ hotel. Il ristorante e’ ottimo, ma occorre prenotare con anticipo. Da provare la fonduta, la più buona che abbiamo mai mangiato. Mini bar gratuito e acqua sempre gratis. Pulizia nella norma.

I cannot imagine staying anywhere else in Zurich. The location is great, staff is most accomocating, there is AC, mini fridge, and coffee/tea facilities. I loved the cold water, OJ, and coffee in the reception area. Rooms a quiet; you don't hear street noise. I used to stay across from the train station, but rooms were not wuietThe hotel was recently remodeled.There is a great produce market across the street. Special thanks to Barbara and Magi at the desk who made me feel especially welcome.
