We had a nice stay with birthday cake and mini decoration, staff Winnie and Lena tried their very best to accomodate our requirements, the rooms were also upgraded so we can enjoyed macau ocean view, my family was so satisfied. Hhd3017I’ve stayed at many 5-star hotels in China before. Some met my standards, while others didn’t even feel like a 3-star hotel. However, the Hilton Zhuhai deserves praise! It didn’t just meet my expectations—I genuinely enjoyed my stay here.
I had some doubts when booking this hotel since it originally opened in 2013, but a renovation was done in 2019. So, I took a leap of faith, and it paid off. The hotel wasn’t expensive, though the price nearly doubled during the holiday season. The staff were very friendly, especially Esther at the front desk, who went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and even offered helpful suggestions 👍.
Of course, no hotel is perfect, so here are some pros and cons:
Pros:
- Great service from the staff, particularly the front desk team.
- The hotel feels well-maintained despite its age.
- Quiet surroundings, which made for a peaceful stay.
Cons:
- The A/C is very slow to cool the room. It eventually gets there, but it takes its own sweet time.
- The front desk area is very small. They squeezed in a coffee bar that took away the grand feel of the lobby and closed off multiple entrances, leaving only one. This layout makes entering the hotel feel awkward and takes away from the sense of luxury.
- The view from our room wasn’t great—just a row of unoccupied mansions with overgrown grass and trees. Since this is a newer area of Zhuhai, many nearby apartments are also empty. It’s quiet, but not particularly scenic.
- There are no restaurants within 500 meters. You’ll need to order takeout or take a taxi to a nearby mall for food.
- Transportation options are limited. There’s no public transport nearby, and the space in front of the hotel is too small for taxis to pull in easily. The best option is to call a DiDi (ride-hailing app), and while the front desk can help with this, you might have to wait if they’re busy.
Overall, I’d rate this hotel an 8/10. The two points I took off were for the lack of nearby restaurants and limited transportation options. Despite these issues, the service and comfort of the hotel made it a great stay. I’d happily return in the future!

The conceigere mistakenly made our hotel access card for one night but actually we stayed for two nights. This gave us much inconvenience to go down and up for several rounds to fix the card…

JJessicaCelebrate il mio piccolo compleanno qui. E'stato sorprendente. Hanno la decorazione della stanza e il servizio di torta il vostro compleanno senza cambiare. Bella esperienza in hotel, bellissimi ristoranti, hanno quasi le cose di cui hai bisogno. L'autobus gratuito per i parchi tematici dal vostro hotel.
Il servizio dell'hotel è stato così buono, hanno anche piastra di cibo benvenuto con frutta fresca, cute cookie e chip. Benvenuto show ha principalmente quotidiano e non solo 1 in un giorno, quindi se si arriva all'hotel presto o controlla in tempo si deve ancora cambiare per vederlo. Il puliziatore riempi i bagni ogni giorno per rendere la camera nuova come il check in giorno 😍. L'evento non va al parco tematico, l'hotel ha molte attività da fare. Come il parco di baia, piscina, zona di gioco, braccialetti a mano, negozio di nali mamme e figlie...

SSahdeeThis was our first trip to Chimelong Zhuhai, and we booked a three-day, two-night package through Trip.com. The package included hotel accommodation, breakfast buffet, dinner buffet for one night, unlimited access to Ocean Kingdom and the spaceship, as well as tickets to the international circus. We had an amazing time and thoroughly enjoyed every show, each offering a unique experience.
Last year, we visited Thailand and had to explore multiple locations for similar entertainment, so we were pleasantly surprised to find everything in one place at Chimelong. The shows included killer whale performances, beluga whale displays, adorable animal shows, and mesmerizing mermaid dances, among many others. Watching the international circus for the first time was mind-boggling!
As an Indian family, we found the food options somewhat limited, but we made the best of it. The breakfast and dinner buffets had a great variety, though they were not tailored to Indian tastes.
We also enjoyed the Kaka Theatre show on the last day of our stay, a mini kids’ circus that provided a unique experience, especially if you miss the international circus. As per the hotel room- The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, although they felt a bit dated, with some paint peeling and minor cleanliness issues. If these aspects were improved, I believe the hotel could easily provide a five-star experience.
A special mention goes to Jialin, the receptionist who spoke English and was incredibly helpful. In Zhuhai, it was challenging to find English speakers, and we often relied on Google Translate for communication. Jialin went above and beyond by decorating our room for my daughter’s birthday, giving her thoughtful gifts, and presenting a small cake. These little surprises added to our memorable stay. Also she gave a room where we could view the 8pm firework and drone show.
Thank you to all the staffs of Chimelong and everyone involved in the circus and shows. We appreciate your efforts and may visit again in the future!

La tranquilla posizione dell’hotel era una perfetta retroazione, e anche con Typhoon Wipha arrabbiando fuori, le loro misure proattive mantengono tutto sotto controllo. Il check-in caldo di Cherry, il servizio attento di Ruby e gli aggiornamenti rapidi di Steven sulla sicurezza delle tempeste mi hanno fatto sentire al sicuro e preoccupato. I sforzi di tutta la squadra mi hanno trasformato in un'esperienza di lusso e di lusso, e mi sono ripreso in un battito cardiaco.

She upgraded us to a duplex with our own pool facing the sea , our first ever.
We were all so happy n excited to stay in that room.
The Shadow Bar was very nice with a super night view of the sea n harbour.
She also helped us with a small problem in the gym and also called a taxi for us when we had trouble getting one after checking out.
A very beautiful resort for couples n family.
Highly recommended n will surely come again.

GGarryL'hotel si trova lungo una strada trafficata e non lontano dalla stazione ferroviaria di Zhuhai, quindi chiamare un taxi Didi è piuttosto comodo, con tempi di attesa ridotti. Anche il personale è stato disponibile e mi ha aiutato ad aprire la porta della camera quando ho avuto difficoltà a girare la maniglia. Uno dei tavoli non era pulito a dovere al momento del check-in e sembrava che ci fosse una fessura nel soffitto del bagno, perché non era abbastanza alto da collegarsi alla parete adiacente. A parte questo, tutto il resto della camera era soddisfacente per il prezzo pagato.
