UUtente ospitePutoshan is well off the foreigner travel path and information in English is limited. That the nearest train station is a few hours away in Ningbo only makes it more complicated. That’s why I was happy to find this homestay/hotel with its helpful English speaking owner “良筑”. I called and he added me on WeChat to give me advice and drop me pins (hint:the “south” bus station in Ningbo is adjacent to the train station, next to the taxi queue). He explained where the four main sightseeing spots on the island were and gave me advice about how to tackle them in a day. As for the hotel itself, perfectly fine: clean and comfortable and affordable. Only disadvantage is it’s about a 10-15 minute drive to the ferry building, about an hour walk. But it’s easy to catch taxis to the hotel and then 良筑 will drive you back to town (about 20 rmb each way). Also, immediately across the street is an enormous new Buddhist temple with a really beautiful interior that I would have missed seeing if I hadn’t stayed at this hotel. It needs at least an hour. The nearby town is small but has many seafood restaurants. All in all, if you’re a foreigner with limited Chinese ability hoping to visit Putoshan, then this is probably the right hotel for you as 良筑 will help you to plan and organize your visit. Plan to arrive by midday and stay for two nights. You can see it all in that time.

UUtente ospiteWe loved the customer service. Due to gale warning, we arrived a day early. The hotel got a shuttle service to and from Ferry/airport. We arrived late and the weather wasn't the greatest, but the owner were willing to drive us to get food and offer to pickup. After a long day of rushing from one island to another, we much needed a foot massage. Due to the bad weather, the owner was so nice to offer to drive us to a massage parlor and pick us up after. This is some excellent service you don't see often. The hotel doesn't have elevator, but it's not really an issue for us. The rooms were clean and neat. I could see the temple from my room. This place is in a community, but not far from alot of places. It's walking distance to rent a moped, If you could ride a moped, I 100% recommend it. You could use Wechat/Alipay to rent it. We rent it to ride everywhere. It's very safe. I would definitely book with them again and recommend this place to stay if you are planning to visit the island.

UUtente ospiteNon è così vecchio come prima, quindi non è così tante foto.Come mostrato nella figura, la posizione del popolo è molto unica, e si può vedere il mare del sud fuori dalla finestra.Un ristorante è molto bello, frutta di mare è dolce, e si sente in buona relazione, il prezzo delle frutta di mare vendute è simile a quello del ristorante Tianjin. La porta è più di un chilometro a sinistra per andare a Berlino e a Nanhai. La porta è più di un chilometro a destra per andare al porto. L'hotel è la spiaggia, vicino alla spiaggia è la macchina di vendita di bevande, e portare la famiglia è molto conveniente, vale la pena raccomandare!

WwwwwkjjLa coppia e la moglie hanno lavorato con cuore.Ho anche mangiato colazione alle 12.00.Il grande uomo ha aiutato a prenotare il biglietto di ritorno e la posizione di pescare. Il servizio è buono, anche se non c'è alcun modo di contatto con il gruppo di microfoni, è generalmente soddisfatto.

WWarren TanadaService by the guy who picked us up from the airport is excellent. 10/10!!! Our luggage was damaged during the flight, he called someone to help us repair it. We were short on time for the ferry sailing to Mt Putuo due the weather conditions, that day sailings will be cancelled, (we got to chat in the van when he picked us up from the airport), he said we can just leave the luggages at the front desk and then hurriedly sent us to the port, good thing we made it. That's superb customer service!!! He didn't even want to get a tip, eventually we gave him some dried mango packs from the Philippines. The front desk guy though is a different story, he was super slow, did not know how to handle checking in of foreign passport holders I think. He has our passports and had to ask us our birthdays!! It was also difficult for him to understand the visa dates (expiry and issue dates), and he kept on asking when we arrived, it is just there stamped opposite the visa page, we just actually arrived that day, this is our first hotel. Anyway, free pick up from the airport is best and free sending to the port and then lastly also to the bus station. Great service.

VVictor RUWe had a lovely stay at Sea Cliff Hotel for May 1st break.
This is what I liked:
- buying ship ticket for May holiday was mission impossible, starting with Tickets App not accepting foreign passports. Hotel helped me with arranging the tickets both ways, even after there were no tickets online (sold out in 20 min)
- they arranged a pick us up on arrival and brought us back to the pier on departure
- hotel has an excellent sea view location, very silent and sea centric rooms, same for restaurant
- everything is modern, I specifically liked ability to share Apple screens on TV in the room, great way to review photos and watch own movies in the evening
- good breakfast 8 to 9AM, you can come 8:45 and enjoy a late breakfast as well; we also had late lunch in hotel restaurant on arrival, great food, great to seat outside, flexible working hours (not closed 14-17!), actually I liked their meals more than what we had on the main beach top restaurant, finally reception can brew you a coffee though bit hot
- there is 20 min walk from the hotel for a great bay and coffee place to watch sunset, excellent experience and no need to wake up early
- hotel was always online on WeChat to address any issues or questions, including how to organize a day, fantastic services!
- hotel has own beach area, looks like good to swim, I will consider for summer, water is clean on the island, and this is just couple of hours from Shanghai
- small drawback: fishing boats pass by from early morning, this may disturb your morning sleep ;)
- other thing the bed is a bit too hard for my back, but where did you see soft beds in China?

UUtente ospiteLa stanza è molto calda e pulita, le strutture sono complete, l'ambiente è anche tranquillo, il traffico è conveniente intorno, ci sono molti ristoranti vicini, il cibo è molto conveniente, e il capo è anche molto buono

MM879089****設施：酒店感覺舊舊的，島上的酒店肯定不能和外面的全季相比，這也沒辦法！
衞生：桌子很臟，根本沒有清理過。這讓我懷疑床單是否一客一換了。
環境：酒店位於慧濟寺索道附近，步行去慧濟寺索道需要15分鐘時間，離碼頭很遠，出行嚴重依賴於酒店的班車，上午時段半小時一班車，下午是一小時一班。如果遊客行程很趕是非常不推薦住這裏的，因為遊客第一天通常要下午才上島，錯過一班就是一小時！
服務：工作人員挺客氣，司機也很熱情，會一邊開車一邊告知遊客最佳遊玩路線！
酒店有午餐晚餐提供，價格比外面的小餐館貴一點，但味道不錯，主要用餐環境好很多，也乾淨衞生，適合有小朋友的家庭，值得推薦！
