BBonSiamo arrivati prima dell'ora di check-in (11:00) pensando di immagazzinare il nostro bagaglio alla ricezione, ma il ricevitore ci ha detto che le camere erano pronte e gentile abbastanza per controllarci in anticipo, che è stata una piacevole sorpresa : D Le camere erano belle e pulite, senza odore di fumo, con connessione WiFi stabile, la testa del doccia pioggia era un po' sciocca, ma la normale funziona bene. E'un po'difficile arrivare all'acqua alla temperatura giusta, ma con qualche prova e errore non è un problema grande. L'hotel si trova a pochi passi dalla piazza Paifang, vicino alle Seven Star Crags, e vi sono molti negozi a piedi.

We stayed at the Superior Lake View room and found the room very spacious and comfortable. The view from the balcony really worth the price. Swimming pool is magnificent. Also, we want to commend the front desk team, especially Miss Cara Yu for their outstanding service.
From check-in to checkout, 小余 demonstrated remarkable professionalism and genuine warmth. She proactively provided personalized dining recommendations, sight seeing points marked on the map for us and reminded us about the weather change which was very heartfelt. It made my stay truly memorable. Please extend my gratitude to 小余. We look forward to returning.

MMariaCThe hotel is located 40 minutes away from GZ South railway station, and 40 minutes Zhaoqing East train station in a great area, 10 minute walk from Scenic areas and the lake. I had a lake view room which was comfortable. There are many restaurants around and you can take boats on the lake to visit different beautiful areas. It is not easy to find at first and as there is no reception and you cannot check-in, so ensure you contact them previously (I called the hotel and got their wechat, we communicated that way). They will give you your room code so you can enter. We had issues with the code and after sending a message a man came very soon to help. The rooms smelled a bit of smoke and they were non-smoking. There is no breakfasts included but plenty of shops around to buy bread, fruit juices, tea shops, luckin coffee, 7 eleven, supermarket, etc. We enjoyed the Thai restaurant just outside the hotel and the Italian Restaurant on the 2nd floor when getting out.

Il pranzo era mediocre, non molto opzioni, molto limitative, ma il lavoro è fatto.

Pros: The place is clean. Bed is on the firmer side which i like. Windows have screens to keep mosquitos away. Drains have no smell. Hot water is hot enough n good pressure.
They provide disposable towels, so you need to bring your own if you r not keen on using disposable.
Location is fantastic.
Client services are great, provided suggestion on a year card for seven-star cave. Hair dryer n room cleaning at request

Cons: like most accommodations in china, you can hear people speaking in hallway. Lucky no noisy neighbors at night. Some constructions carry out in a flat nearby, so noise starts at around 830am. The lift lobbies and hallway still have protective plastics so the building is not fully occupied....

I dipendenti erano molto amichevoli, ma le strutture mancano. Ho prenotato una stanza perche' aveva una finestra massimale. Tuttavia, la mia unica funzione era deludente perché l'esterno non era stato pulito e sporco. Era un po' disgustoso guardare, ma anche vedrete il vestito e la lacrima sul quadro della finestra, mentre la pittura era uscita e persino ruggineva in alcuni luoghi, ma gli altri aspetti della stanza erano accettabili e puliti.
In termini di vista, anche se avevo una vista sul lago, non c'era molto da vedere, ma questo è semplicemente dovuto alla posizione dell'hotel, ed è una debolezza intrinseca.
Credo che questo hotel stia cercando di diventare un grande hotel e si sta arrivando, ma deve concentrarsi su alcuni dei piccoli dettagli.

FFloatingzenLocation: Best location ever in Zhaoqing. Right opposite the 7-star lake central facade. Below the mixed-use building is a small mall with ample food and grocery choices.
Service: Best avoided if you do not speak Chinese. Keep advising me to take a taxi from GZ which would be extremely expensive when cheaper alternatives are available. Did not provide check-in prior yet operated like Airbnb with check-in lobby and rooms on different levels of the building. Door lock PW changes daily but did not pre-advise leading to being locked-out. Located in a mix-use building and so hard to find if you were not advised beforehand what and where to go.
Cleanliness: Messy check-in lobby. Rooms cleanliness so-so with hair and roaches found in sink. (See pix)
Room: Booking title says facing Lakeview but small print says city-view. Wasted on upgrading. Duplex room with narrow stairs making it challenging for elderly.
Facilities: Washing machine located in room.
Value: Will not come back. There are better alternatives.
Key considerations: (Wifi, hot shower, air-con, hygiene and service). Wifi and hot shower are okay. Air-con, hygiene and service are below par.
Comments: This is not a hotel. Neither is it managed like Airbnb where host will do their best to communicate with guest. Hygiene and service not up to standard. Mix-use building seems to have a number of Airbnb-type operations, delivery personnel, retail, F&B shops and offices so people are in and out of building at all times yet there is no security personnel at lift lobby.
