Our stay at Lexi Shanya Homestay (Heaven’s Gate) was just amazing!! I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, and I also could not have asked for a better host. Issac (the owner) and his parents were charming. Issac speaks wonderful English, which made planning for the trip a lot smoother. He called me a day before we arrived to arrange to pick us up at the airport. Once we got to the homestay, he gave us a dinner menu and informed us that the food would be ready in an hour. He helped plan out two days in Zhangjiajie, booking the tickets for us in advance! He got us the entry tickets (both for TianMen and The National Forrest) as well as tickets for the cable cars/escalators/etc. He took us up to the TianMen mountain gates and gave us routes that the tourists usually do not go! I couldn’t believe it. He is a native to Zhangjiajie which made everything all the better.
If you are a foreigner traveling to Zhangjiajie, I really recommend staying here. Not only is this homestay cozy and quiet, but Issac is also knowledgable and will help you with all the small details of your trip!!
10/10! I wish I could give this place higher than 5 stars! If I come back to Zhangjiajie again, I will stay here! Recommending this place to all my friends traveling! :)

We had an amazing stay here. The location is just outside of the downtown area but so peaceful with a beautiful view. The hospitality and service were great. The host is friendly, helpful and can speak good English. They offered to drive us to both the train station as well as the Tianmen Mountain cable car station.
The rooms are beautiful, modern and clean. Our room had everything we needed. We absolutely loved the outdoor pool with a view of Tianmen Mountain.
Breakfast was delicious with a variety of options.
Thanks you Issac and family. We will definitely be back.

As a family, we would highly recommend Heaven’s Gate (Lexi Shanya) Homestay. We were warmly welcomed by owner Issac and his parents - and shown to clean, well-equipped and comfortable bedrooms. Issac provided us with extremely helpful information about visiting Tianmen Mountain (including a map and relevant ticket prices). He also offered to book us tickets for the local folk show - and even drove us to the Tianmen Mountain Cable Car in his own vehicle! Breakfast comprised of delicious local food, and we were served complimentary bowls of fresh fruit. Our children loved the swimming pool and played happily with other children staying at the Homestay.

很滿意哦，兩張大床，睡得很舒服！老闆家有小動物，還有個籃球框，孩子很喜歡！庭院裏有泳池和鞦韆椅，能看到天門山。老闆人很nice，還告訴我們應該怎麼玩不用排隊，勞心勞力的。早餐阿姨們幫我們準備的都很豐盛，看我們吃不慣粉，早上準備粥和餃子。其實炒粉和米粉都很好吃哦，梨子超好吃，翠又甜！

房間衞生超級好，老闆服務很周到，很棒的早餐體驗，接送站服務也很棒，有順路的景點，時間合適老闆也會稍一段路程，院子裏還有小貓和狗崽，兩小衹都很親人

家庭經營的民宿，風景很好，院子可直接遠觀天門山很温情，小羅掌櫃很會做旅遊路線規劃，國慶人太多，幸虧及時指導從張家界西門入武陵源，雖然遠一點避開高分人流堵車

窗外就是天門山風景 樓下可以游泳 燒烤 盪鞦韆。
忘記多拍幾張房間照片了。真的很滿意 房間很衞生 老闆人很好 會跟你講解一些旅遊攻略 幫你省很多冤枉錢 也省去不少體力和時間。 謝謝老闆一家的熱情招待 不僅建議大家可以住一下 也會推薦朋友來這家住宿。

民宿整體經營思路想努力做好，衞生和設施情況都還不錯，可遠看天門山，就是受限於民宿位置，交通不是很方便，要穿行一段窄路，對大城市來的遊客不是很友好，周邊還有幾家比較有特色的民宿，可以多多體驗。

在這裏真的給了像家一樣的感覺，位置非常好，打開窗簾就可以看到天門洞，還看到火車，老闆一家都很nice！訂票優惠景點介紹，還給我這個喜歡越野的人一直耐心介紹好玩的地方，老闆介紹了附近飯店也真的好好吃🤤民宿叔叔阿姨做的早餐也沒話説我直接炫兩碗！本來想續住一晚但可惜已經被訂滿，這裏真的值得來！下次見啦！感謝老闆招待❤️
