I stayed at the Holiday Inn Guadalajara Patria Universidad for five days recently, and I would never go back. The walls of the shower had hair from the previous guests, the blankets were stained, and the AC didn’t work properly. I used the hotel iron once to iron a dress shirt and it stained the shirt. The most significant incident was my STOLEN jacket. After returning to the hotel from being out a few hours, and the only time we requested the room cleaned, I realized my jacket was missing from the room, specifically from the closet where it was left. I informed the front desk of the situation and they were very nonchalant about the incident. I had to insist for them to take any type of action, and when they finally did, their resolution was an email about the incident to I assume hotel management. The next day I inquired again about the jacket and they asked me for my email and phone number in case they had an update, but I was never contacted again or given an update upon checkout. Approximately five days later, I called to follow up and the front desk said that they were aware about the incident but after seeing the footage of the hotel cameras they didn’t see anyone taking the jacket. Of course, if you’re stealing something from a room, you’re not going to let the cameras see you. That was the extent of their action. I never even received a call back to apologize for the incident, or any update if I hadn’t called back. The jacket had huge sentimental value, and I know now I’m never getting it back, but the minimum that I was expecting was an update, apology, some type of action or that they were at least trying, but it was clear they didn’t care. I highly recommend that if you can avoid this hotel, please do so at all costs!

E 'un posto molto bello, hanno un buon servizio in reception, è un posto che lo mantengono molto pulito, mi è piaciuto molto che abbia molte aree verdi è un posto molto speciale per passare un buon fine settimana e chiaramente mi è piaciuto molto il servizio di le cameriere e personale di pulizia molto gentile persone sono un posto che se mi consiglio

Excelent Hotel, new and good breakfast. Very helpfull staff. I was for business and the hotel has all you need for meetings and work. Good location near to the bus station. Right on the Vallarta Av. and crossing the periderico. You can go anywere in zapopan or guadalajara taking speed ways.

Quello che questo hotel manca nel suo primo aspetto, si pone bene nel suo interno. Seduto su una strada piuttosto occupata, mi sono avvicinato all'hotel con qualche scetticismo per circa 30 secondi. Poi arrivate e sono trattati per un'elegata esperienza. Ci sono molti membri del personale pronto a aiutarvi con bagagli, a trasportarvi nella vostra stanza, a consigliare ristoranti, a organizzare taxi o uber per voi, in modo che si possa prendere a Guadalajara. Ci sono stati dei dipendenti che aspettavano per assicurarsi che tu avessi tutto quello che avevi bisogno, dai cocktail ai snack. Eravamo andati fuori e in città, quindi non avevamo fame, ma il cibo sembrava delizioso. La piscina è una piscina naturale con una bella parete di piante vive. La zona di serratura è bella. Allora, ci sono le camere. Sono spaziosi e hanno la più aggiornata elettronica e tecnologia. La camera da bagno è un elegante quarzo, molto elegante e moderno. Ci sono belle attrazioni da stupendo bagno e radici a una splendida doccia pioggia. L'arte viola è stata una mia preferita. Grande vista, anche se Guadalajara è un po' sgombra.

I stayed here for 5 nights, probably longer than I've wanted to. normally when I travel to GDL I stay in another hotel, but I gave sleep inn a chance because of its location, good dining options within walking distance. The hotel is new, the price is right and the Wi-fi works very well! however several details could improve, specially cleanliness, the walkways are dusty, the ice bucket in the room with garbage and dusty, in-operational safe, I also reported the lack of towels and wipes at the gym to a lady in the front desk, her response complaining about the housekeeper was unprofessional.. and didn't get the things solved!. Breakfast is ok, but it is supposed to be ready at 7 which is already kind of late for me..., anyway if you arrive 7.05 you'll find the buffet unattended and you need to wait until somebody can serve you, furthermore they don't have have all options ready, maybe if you go 7.20 you'll have better chances . Free Parking is appreciated but it you need to drive very carefully because of its odd design... I give it 3 stars because it is new and the check out was quicker than usual . .. only at check in there is supposed to be someone at ground level to tell you what to do, because you need to take one elevetar to check in at first floor.. nobody was there when I arrived so I had to wait about 5 minutes for someone, then you need to take a different elevator to go to the rooms... so a little impractical

I normally enjoy staying at AC Hotels b/c the experience is consistent, straight forward, and worth the price. I was disappointed when I checked in at 10PM to find my room not furnished with ear swabs/cotton pads, a soap dish, nor the complimentary water bottles. I requested water via the app, and it took over an hour to be brought to my room. The room also had significant wear and tear. The power outlets next to the bed were too worn to support any plugs. The outlets were too loose and plugs would fall out as soon as they were plugged in. The USB outlets next to the bed didn't work, and one of the USB outlets was completely gutted. When I sat down on the edge of the bed, I immediately sunk to the bottom, which indicated broken mattress springs. Luckily the rest of the king bed was in-tact. AC Hotels use Korres products. The hand soap, lotion, and conditioner in the room were in fact Korres, but the shampoo and body wash were not. The difference was obvious--the smell of Korres product is very distinct and white, and the shampoo and body wash were orange and smelled like peach. This made me distrustful of the property that they would mislabel bottles and put adulterated product advertised as something else. I was hoping it was just the bottles in my room. The housekeeping was inconsistent and baffling. I returned at the end of the first day to see that the room was cleaned, bed made, and trash emptied, but the washcloth and hand soap that were provided the first night were not replaced. I then requested via the app a 1) dental kit 2) comb 3) shower cap 4) hand soap and 5) washcloth. But what was delivered to my room was a 6) hand towel 7) shampoo 8) conditioner and 9) body wash. None of what I requested. With the additional shampoo and body wash, I confirmed that the pink, peach product was also in the separate bottles. Some pros were that they were able to keep me in the same room across my two reservations, and the high-floor room had good noise isolation. The property is directly next to the Plaza del Sol, so shopping and running errands was a very easy walk over. I submitted the feedback directly to the property at the end of my stay, and the manager promptly responded apologizing for my experience and said they deposited goodwill Bonvoy points into my account. It's been seven days and the supposed points still haven't appeared in my account.
