Hotel Keur

Terrible hotel, check-in was fine, turned up early and room was ready, went to our room which was very small , Walked into the room which was cold and smelt musty, probably why the windows were wide open. The bed linen had stains on it as did the towels, beds/ pillows so uncomfortable, shower had no power, couldn’t get shampoo out of hair , we turned the radiator up but it kept switching off. Comp tea and coffee downstairs in hallway with paper cups a child would drink out of, came back from a lovely day about 8.15pm bar was shut!! Breakfast was terrible, loads of bread , no serial, was offered eggs and nothing else hot, we asked a simple question about alternative to milk, and guy was rude and shrugged shoulders, spoke to owner to ask if we could move rooms ( the hotel was not busy) or anything he could do to make our stay better, he did not apologise and offered another room but we had to pay more money! We checked out a day early and booked into a wonderful hotel , this hotel is ok for business travel as very very close to station and very basic!

Excellent all round We stayed here for two nights and it looks like the whole hotel and rooms have just been refurbished to a high standard and very nice style. Cannot find fault with anything. Good kitchen area, huge shower room, comfortable seating area with smart TV and comfy bed. The hotel is next to the station but there is no noise from the trains and we had a nice outside seating area. Soundproofing between rooms is also good. It is also ideally located for the beach (3 min walk) and its many great beach bars and also 2 mins walk to one of the main streets full of restaurants and bars. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was very good with a good selection and we were even given a bag with a water and snacks to take with us at check out. Would definitely return to this hotel.

I was with 2 friends. Comfortable and clean room. Very convenient location: 5 min walk from the beach and the town centre and very close to bars and restaurants. The staff was pleasant and helpful. I recommend and will be back in the summer for sure.
