Ho soggiornato in questo hotel con la mia famiglia durante il nostro soggiorno a Zante . Lo consiglio in quanto , è situato in una posizione strategica per girare l isola Kalamaki e’ fornito di tutti i servizi dai supermarket Giochi per bimbi e taverne Personale dell’ hotel molto gentile Fornito di piscina ideale per i bimbi Pulizia giornaliera Consigliato

Struttura esternamente molto carina , giardini ben curati, pool bar pulito con personale molto cordiale . Il problema sono le camere all’interno , con arredi vecchi , un armadio piccolissimo , infatti siamo stati costretti per una settimana a non disfare le valigie , una cucina inutilizzabile e, peggio di tutto , il bagno davvero indecente . Non solo piccolissimo ma con doccia senza cabina , tombino centrale dal quale fuoriusciva schiuma durante la doccia . Asciugamani poi molto vecchi ed il cambio , che doveva essere effettuato ogni 3 giorni , in 8 giorni è stato fatto solo una volta . L’unica nota positiva della camera è stato il terrazzino che affaccia sulla piscina .

Best pool bar in Kalamaki, good lunches, great staff, great beer, the best cocktails and very fair prices. Nice lounge areas as well.

Myself and my wife came to sofias hotel Kalamaki for the first time 22nd Sept 2024 .I'm writing this review Sat on my sunbed on our last day .Firstly we were greeted at reception with lady greeting us with our first names, very Impressive. We were told the things we needed to know ,then shown to our room.The rooms are very nice ,Basic but nice ,and very clean .this is our first time coming self catering .so far so good .and to be honest things just got better .all of the staff here are lovely people ,and can not do enough for you .very happy friendly people .They really make this place and the owners should be glad to have them .Food here is very nice and along the front are plenty of restaurants. A supermarket is attached to the side of hotel ,and again the lady there is very helpful and nice .Sitting here were sad to be leaving tomorrow, but we definitely will be back ,and I can honestly say if you stay here you will not be disappointed. Thank you everyone at sofias hotel for everything

Overpriced. Would only recommend if you are age 60+. Drink weren't great but food I would not complain. Not clean at all as the floors where dirty the entire stay and sheets were not changed everytime. I had to buy bleach myself as the bathroom stank to then find the toilet brush holder had a puddle of urine!! A couple staff very friendly others...not so much as they enjoyed glaring over and giggling while talking greek. Didn't make a great first impression telling us "sorry reception is closed" The shop on the other hand was amazing with great staff and prices! Even the people who stayed clearly didn't enjoy us staying as we'd have funny looks everytime we'd go to the pool. I have came to kalamaki for 12 years now and this is the only disappointing experience I have had.

Definitely not the best hotel some of the staff are lovely but the rest are rude, didn’t clean the floors at all the whole time we had been there also some of the bar staff were talking and giggling about us in Greek will not be coming back only thing that was worth it was the food

We stayed here in July, the studio we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The kitchnette was useful to make a quick sandwich at lunchtime or some cereal at breakfast, but nothing more. The bathroom floor does get very wet when showering but as a whole the rooms are very functional and somewhere to get your head down and call a base. This is a budget style hotel and after all you pay for what you get. Please don't be out off by any negative reviews but also don't be expecting 4 or 5* decor etc. That said the service was most definitely 5* as was the atmosphere around the pool and in the bar area. The pool area was lovely, very friendly and we always found a sun bed even at peak time. We've visited Kalamaki a few times now and love the resort. For the price we paid, we most certainly would return to Sofias.

We’ve just returned from a 4 night stay at Sofias. Check in was quick and we were shown to our rooms after a quick drink stop. Our room was big and spacious. We had no issues. There was a kettle in the cupboard and mugs, I bought the coffee so I was good! As mentioned shower has no shower curtain but just close the bathroom door- no issues. Air con is €12 per night and we also paid for a late check out. 5pm check out was €45 - we had a 9pm flight so decided it was decent to be able to chill for our last day. Pool had a good atmosphere where you could get some food and a drink - all reasonably priced. The staff are brilliant here. Please remember this is a basic hotel, so when booking please don’t expect the ritz, but it’s clean and friendly and does exactly what it advertises! Would I come back - yes! :) Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

We booked Sofia’s for 2 nights as we couldn’t find accommodation for 7 nights last minute so moved during the week. Having visited Sofias pool and bar previously we decided to book the room as the pool bar has always been great. We always research hotels so knew we weren’t going to the ritz. However I think there’s better basic hotels to book. The room was small but it was clean. It was very hot so air con was needed, a bit pricey at €12 a night and on the last night it stopped working. It also didn’t work amazingly the rest of the time. We did mention the aircon at check out and was offered a refund for it not working. The biggest downside to the room was the bathroom, as others have said no shower curtain. It is basically just a tray in the corner. Strangely no bin in the room either. The pool area and bar are good. Plenty of sunbeds and great service. There plenty of choice on three menu but not the cheapest pool bar. It did get a bit rowdy with certain guests but day drinking and being loud is some people’s holiday and the hotel cannot control who books to stay, Overall it was ok, I had higher expectations of basic given the cost but for 2 nights it was ok. I was glad we hadn’t booked the full week and greatful for a decent shower once we moved.
