Palazzo di Zante - All Inclusive

We have just come back from a lovely 2 weeks stay here. We were warned by the holiday company that half thw facilities were closed. And the lift to the beach was broken. This wasn't a problem to us. We arrived at midnight due to flight problems 11 hrs later then we should of. The staff at the hotel very kindly had made us sandwiches and puddings and we were also greated with drinks. Could have what ever we wanted. This was only the start of how we were treated by the staff at this hotel. They're all friendly and they couldn't do enough for us. Now there were only 14 holiday makers at most during the time we were there. This is apparently because they don't fully open until June. I think this is more of a blip on the holiday company's side than the hotels. Granted it is out of the way and it is a bit of walk for a bus ride back into zakinthos and taxis are a bit expensive but it tells you that in the brochure/websites. If your getting a car or quad while your there its perfect. It's quiet and relaxing and your not kept awake all night with the pubs and clubs. But you can go off and travel. The hotel will make you up an buffet picnic box. So your still getting all your meals in the all inclusive package should you not want to eat out. The rooms are basic but who goes for the room. It was clean there were no bugs and the cleaning ladys came in everyday to make sure it stayed that way. The food is amazing, my dad is a fussy eater! Chips is his main staple. But he evan tried the food this time. The chef greets you and tells you what he's prepared. He answers any questions about the food you may have. Victor and Alex kept everything clean and tidy and helped with serving and changing plates cutting the bread. Yes you can see that there are areas with in the hotel that need a facelift but this isnt a brand new hotel and for the price of those 2 weeks compared with the rest of the all inclusive packages you cant ask for more. Lets face it covid has hit them too and they haven't been open for 2 years. Now they can open theyre doing those little jobs. The maintenance staff have been nice and friendly and haven't spoilt our holiday with excessive noice. The island is only open for tourism for 6 months of the year. They're trying to get back on there feet. The bar staff are also a credit to the hotel, the young lady in the main pool bar was very kind and attentive to all guests. I will go back here again and hire a quad/car to get around the island better. This hotel is good for people who want quiet and are willing to hire a car to get around should they want to leave the pool.

We came to this hotel with some trepidation, due to the poor reviews and tui calling us a week before practically advising us to move hotels. All I can say is thank you tui, and thank you the moaners who left those bad reviews. Because as a result, we’ve had one of the best holidays for a long long time! The hotel was practically empty!! The rooms are ok, cleaned everyday. The food was ok, tho not much for fussy eating kids.(there is an excellent pizza restaurant a 10 mins walk away). The staff are excellent. The pools are very good (there are 2 pools open). The beach is lovely which we had all to ourselves for the week-bliss!! No reps, which meant no entertainment which depending on your viewpoint was either good or bad. The only downside was a lack of something to do on the evenings. I think the bad reviews and the tui call also filtered out the guests who are up their own backsides and/or the ones who believe they’ve booked in to a 5 star hotel (we’ve all seen them on holiday). All the guests were down to earth, normal and friendly. So glad we came Some practical info The hotel is about 40 mins from the airport. Air con in the rooms. Self service food and drinks at meal times. Loads of sunbeds-definitely no need to reserve at ANY time. Free sunbeds on the beach. It’s steps down to the beach which are quite steep. There is a shop on site. The cinema room is open. The pool at the sister hotel IS open (the hotel is not)

Μου άρεσε που το ξενοδοχείο είχε νεροτσουληθρες, ότι ήταν κοντά στη θάλασσα και ότι πάντα βρίσκαμε ότι θελαμε π.χ. ξαπλώστρα κοκ. Το all inclusive αξίζει σαν πακέτο, δεν έχει όλων των ειδών τα ποτά η freddo αλλά είναι ΟΚ. Το προσωπικό είναι ΟΚ και πάντα προσπαθεί να εξυπηρετήσει. Καθαριότητα εξίσου καλή. Οι φωτογραφίες είναι παλιές δεν ανταποκρίνεται στο τι πραγματικά λειτουργεί. Όλο το συγκρότημα χρήζει ανακαίνισης και φροντίδας. Στα πολύ μείον είναι ότι δεν υπάρχει κλιματιζομενη αίθουσα + το φαγητο είναι έτσι και έτσι (π.χ. βρήκα πλαστικο στο γιαουρτι) Τέλος, palladio di zante, zante imperial kai zante plaza είναι ουσιαστικά το ίδιο ξενοδοχείο. Γενικά περάσαμε καλά και ίσως ξαναπάμε
