Kui Ran adheres to the philosophy of "Let the mountains return to nature and people to their true selves", creating a place for harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. Located in the prime spot of Baisha Ancient Town, it takes only 3 minutes on foot to reach the bustling town, allowing guests to enjoy both the lively atmosphere and a peaceful retreat. Here, simply lie back and take in the majestic Yulong Snow Mountain, the dreamy sea of clouds, the vast wilderness, and the starry sky - each view a breathtaking masterpiece.
Kui Ran was renovated from a six-generation-old ancestral home of the Naxi and Japanese style, covering an area of over 3,000 square meters. It features two main buildings, two distinct inner courtyards, and an additional 2,000 square meters of outdoor space. The 160-year-old walnut tree in the courtyard is the soul of the place.
The hotel has 14 rooms, including 13 scenic rooms facing the snow-capped mountains and one century-old ancestral home family suite. Each room is equipped with Marshall speakers, Epson projectors, Hisense TVs, Atour zero-pressure memory pillows, Acca Kappa toiletries, Kohler showers, and Jomoo smart toilets to ensure a comfortable stay. A complimentary breakfast is delivered to the room, along with welcome fruits, a snack package, and a selection of coffee for afternoon tea, allowing guests to indulge their taste buds and embark on a journey back to nature.

The location of the place is simply unbeatable - few minutes away from the bustling Baisha Town, quiet and tranquil.
The staffs are beyond helpful - the sweetest people that answer to all of our needs.
And the view - breathing.
To manage your expectation though - it’s a boutique hotel which means things are in general in smaller scale. The room was spacious and really comfortable.

This is a newly established hotel with great views! The sky is so bright and we enjoyed sitting outside and chat. All of the staffs are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much. We will choose to stay here when we visit Lijiang again in the future.

I had a superb stay at Kuiran Hotel! The service was exceptional from start to finish. A special thanks to the staff for going the extra mile and helping me collect my parcels — truly appreciated their kindness and efficiency.
The location is perfect, with a breathtaking mountain view right from the room. Waking up to that scenery was an unforgettable experience. The room itself was very clean, and the interior design was both modern and cozy, making it a very comfortable stay.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic retreat with top-notch service!

Extremely pleased with my experience here. I even proposed to my fiancé here so this place holds special meaning to me. The rooms are well equipped with good equipment like projector, boiling kettle, a Marshall speaker and a balcony with amazing view of Yulong Snow Mountain. Highly recommended!

this hotel raised the BAR for service and stay. amazing view, amazing staff, they were so friendly and genuinely wanted us to have fun staying at their accommodation/ visiting their area.
hotel has a clear view of jade dragon mountain which was the main reason why we booked the stay.
bonfire at night, unlimited barista coffee. keep in mind the lijiang is at slightly higher altitude, despite that the staff have been helping with our bags, countless requests, climbing up and down to send things directly to our room.
in addition, the room we booked was right next to an accommodation being renovated. the team was generous enough to upgrade us to a better room, further from the noise.
i can only say i’ve been spoiled by them. i’ve been recommending this stay to my friends and i would not hesitate to return!! thank you so much!!

Nice location. just outside Baisha old town. Room is spacious and well equipped. Outside the room. the yard seems right below the snow mountain.. It's great view. Special thanks to the front desk staffs who gave me advice to local restaurants which was super nice. Overal, I will recommend this hotel to my friends who come to lijiang in future.

From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The check-in process was seamless, and the manager and staff was warm and welcoming, offering us and helpful tips about the local area.
Throughout my stay, every staff member I encountered was polite, attentive, and genuinely interested in making my experience as perfect as possible!
One standout moment was when I needed assistance with a last-minute request, and the team not only handled it promptly but also followed up to ensure everything went smoothly. Their attention to detail and willingness to accommodate made all the difference.
Their waffle is so good too !
The hotel's amenities were top-notch, but what truly set this experience apart was the outstanding service. I’ll definitely be returning to kuiran for my future stays. Highly recommend!
