We had an amazing suite. Outside of the French doors was a beautiful garden patio. We were steps away from the pool. Chris the pool bartendar delivered us some wonderful drinks and food. The little village of Yountville is so pleasant and relaxing. Vineyards are right across the street. The world famous French Laundry restaurant is a couple of blocks away. So many incredible restaurants within a 2-3 block walk. The grounds of the hotel are well kept and pleasant.

This is a beautiful hotel and a great place to stay if you are wanting to visit Napa / Yountville. I do think it is overpriced for what I paid however going during summer break was likely a big factor in the pricing so not a big complaint. The pool facilities were very nice, the loungers were very comfy and the area was well attended by staff who were all extremely pleasant and always smiling. The only downside to the pool area were the beds which had 4 posts but no actual wall area to lean on. This meant that your only option was to lie down which I thought was a bit strange. The rooms were brilliant and in pristine condition, the beds were comfy and the shower was nice and large. The hotel is in a great location, it is within walking distance to all the main restaurants and centre of Yountville however they do also offer a complimentary shuttle service should you wish. While overall it was an amazing hotel, there was a part of it which irritated me. This was the fact that included in your resort fee was a $50 credit for food & drink but this was not mentioned to us at all during check-in and we only found out after reading it on the website. Regardless, the hotel was brilliant and should we return to the wonderful town of Yountville we would be more than happy staying here again.

I was really looking forward to the promised luxury of this hotel and was completely disappointed. The cost of the room was ridiculous for the quality. I upgraded to a premium king room and was ready to be wowed. The room needs a total upgrade. There's no door separating the bedroom area and the bathroom. There is, however, a Walmart curtain. The bathroom is tiny, I guess that's why they plop a tub in the middle of the room, that's just odd. The carpets are worn, and the laminate floors move when you walk on them. The pool was nice, and the server was very good. The drinks are served in mule glasses with tons of ice, which is nice but for $17 a pop plus automatic 20% gratuity it's not worth it. Overall, the cost of the stay is not worth it in my opinion.

I stayed here over 4th of July and found the hotel to be outstanding on every level. I was surprised at the negative reviews I read. First of all the hotel is beautiful and the grounds are perfectly landscaped. Our room was gorgeous as well and we even had a little patio out back. It was modern and extremely clean. The location of this hotel is ideal too - easy walk to multiple excellent restaurants. We walked to Bouchon bakery every morning. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great experience in Napa!

Was here exactly 10 years ago and still amazing. Friendly staff. Nice room, fireplace, food, amenities and perks. Room was clean. The property has nice breakfast and free bites at the lobby in the morning. Use the nice driver and house luxury vehicle to get around Yountville and do tastings. Will return.

I have always been a huge fan of this hotel and stayed many times. I wanted to stay this past week and had been online looking at rates for a few weeks. Every time I went online the rates changed. I started with a rate promotion that included a $50 breakfast credit daily that was a good value as it wasn't $50 more than the room rate. But as I kept going back to check on availability, suddenly this package that gave me $50 breakfast credit a day was costing me $100 or more a day -- so where is the value in that? They just kept playing around with the rates like Revenue Management gone mad. When I finally called up to question what was going on, some gal tells me "oh this depends upon how many people are online visiting our website at the same time." That is total BS. She finally said she would give me the original rate I found, BUT it was non refundable. No thanks. If you're going to play games with a good loyal guest, I don't need that. Particularly when you are raising rates on an old tired room that is going to be renovated at the end of this month anyway. They should be treating their loyal guests better, not driving them off. I booked a stay at another destination instead. Their loss.

The hotel was lovely, our room was fabulous, bed super comfortable, nice patio area with chairs and a fireplace in the room, bathrooms also super luxe. The pool area was much bigger than I anticipated and there was also a poolside bar, which was closed while we were there (morning), but looked like a fun vibe when opened. Definitely a luxury hotel, not as high end as the super spendy in the area but I thought it was good value for the area. It ticked all the boxes, just a bit quiet. Yountville is a quiet town with a lot of nice restaurants but the nightlife pretty much dies at dinner. We tried to find a bar to have a nightcap at one night - and there really were none in the area. The hotel bar was dead quiet almost all the time we were there and seemed to run out of a few things on the drinks menu, not sure if that's standard or just our bad luck. Would I stay here again? There is no reason I wouldn't other than it being a bit quieter than I prefer. Lovely property, friendly staff.

This is a very nice hotel in a great town. The rooms are really lovely, large bathrooms (although no door on it) and the beds are really comfy. The pool area is great and relaxing with a bar. Service there was spot on. I read a lot of reviews before we booked and had prepared myself for a motel next to a trailer park. It is true that it has a motel style however most of the the rooms all open up to a self contained parking lot. Meaning they don't face the street and it is private feeling. The rooms are well appointed and there is an upscale feel to the whole place. There is a 55+ mobile home residence next door but I wouldn't call it a trailer park. If it's a concern request a first floor unit. Complimentary breakfast consisted of croissants, fresh fruit and yogurt parfaits plus coffee. There is a restaurant on site that is available as well but we did not utilize it. It is a pricey hotel but that is reflective of the location and town. The town itself is really cute and easily walkable from the hotel. We enjoyed some nice restaurants. I would definitely recommend Hotel Yountville.
