Hotel in zona Studio Gallery, York

This was my first visit to York. The hotel was ideally placed for visiting on foot all the sites as within the city walls. The room was really clean and had a fridge and kettle. It was very quiet and air conditioning on . Comfortable and excellent breakfast. I’d definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

A circa dieci minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria, l'hotel può vedere la cattedrale di York.La stanza è pulita e spaziosa e confortevole.Il servizio della stanza è fornito a richiesta, invece di imballare le foglie e il carta da bagno ogni giorno alla porta, e asciugare.Il bagaglio può essere conservato gratuitamente prima e dopo l'alloggio. La stanza è più grande di quanto immagina, e il cortile posteriore ha un ampio parcheggio.L'unica carenza è che il letto standard è un po'spazzato, come se fosse meno di un metro e cinque, e due persone dormono un po'spazzate.

After making a complaint about the room security we were abused and threatened by the hotel staff During the night persons enter the room while while we were sleeping Up on trying to secure the room we noticed that the door could be opened from the corridor without using a key or card When we let reception know this we were told by Lee ( one of your house keeping staff) “aar yes that’s the problem with 302” On pointing out that they must have know the room security was inadequate he became very angry and abusive,swearing and made threats of violence.. There was no duty management on site available to discuss this matter Please be very careful stopping at this branch of travel I would definitely not recommend to lone travels or families with children

L'ascensore era sceso quando siamo arrivati all'hotel senza salto. Capisco pienamente che questo potrebbe essere fuori controllo dell'hotel, ma è stato dato solo un piano inferiore su mia richiesta, anche se ho già menzionato che avevo un grande bagaglio. Il personale non ha menzionato la disponibilità di Servizio portatile fino a quando non l'ho chiesto. Le tazze e le spalle nella stanza non erano pulite. Non ci sono scarpe in stanza e devono essere caricate a £2/pair che penso potrebbe essere come buona volontà per un ascensore fuori ordine.D'altra parte, la posizione era buona e i portatili erano carini.

A really friendly hotel. Surprisingly, every person can get a welcome drink which is very tasty as well. Lots of board games and mini games are placed in the lobby so we can enjoy some fun time if we don’t want to stay in hotel room.

Booked here for 3 nights. Pictures on internet look fine along with most reviews. But when arrived. Greeted by jason and was told to leave bags downstairs while he checked us in. Took us in a room which was very dated and chairs were badly ripped. (This is the dining area) (Not the best first impression) but jason sorted out the parking permit for us. Then asked what we want for breakfast. Full english and we had to have the same for 3 mornings. . And time of breakfast had to be same time each morning. .Anyway got keys to rooms. Room 6 . Opened door . Room was full of dust. Had a look round and it wasnt cleaned at all. Beds weren't made properly and floor was filthy. Extension cable inbetween 2 single beds. . Wardrobe you couldnt open because it is so close to bed. Dressing table stool couldnt pull it out properly because other bed was in way. Then bathroom . It was disgusting. There were hairs on floor along with plenty of dust. Built up of grime on the shower in corners. Shower which was electric ,it was hot but not much pressure from it. We would of walked away but we were with friends who had booked it and paid up front. At breakfast we went at our set time for the door to be wedged so we couldnt get in. Anyway door opened. Couple of mins later. Toast already on table which was stone cold. with coffee and tea. There were another table for two and their food was on table but hadnt got gown yet. Not good. When we poured coffee it was luke warm. Told the lady and she wasnt very happy. Her response was. Cant be ive just done it . She grabbed it and walked away. She returned with another which was hot but said nothing. Kitchen door was left open and all you could here was a conversation between her and her colleague. Life stories. The kitchen didnt look the most hygienic. Luckily we only used the place to get head down. Beds were awful. Very lumpy and duvet full of bobbles. After 2 nights of having to stay we had to leave couldnt cope with another night in the place. There were lots of other things but i would be writing forever. CERTAINLY WOULD NOT BE RETURNING!!!! Recentemente sono rimasto qui per qualche notte con il mio partner. L'hotel è bello e il personale è stato così utile. Avevamo prenotato una delle piccole camere, ma ci siamo migliorati quando ci siamo arrivati. C'è un piccolo pantello con tutti i tipi di benedizioni che puoi aiutare. E'un passo di 2 minuti al centro di York, che è una città così bella. I mercati di Natale hanno appena iniziato, ma non si è sentito troppo occupato. Abbiamo mangiato molto, ci sono molti bar e pub, e saremmo certamente tornati.

A pochi minuti dal centro della città ci ci ha voluto arrivare in autobus, offrendo una vasta gamma di cibo e bevande per colazione, e sorprendentemente, la maggior parte di loro gusto grande.

La posizione è molto alta al di fuori del centro di York e l'accesso è molto facile dalle strade principali. Ci sono parcheggio e servizio di guida circa mezzo chilometro a piedi della strada che è molto raccomandato perché il parcheggio a York può essere difficile e costoso. Parcheggio e tempo di viaggio è di circa dieci minuti e vi gode vicino alla zona Shambles della città. L'alloggio era di base ma pulito. L'alloggio era comodo, il doccia era molto potente e abbondante di asciugamani. La colazione era limitata, ma molto bello e ci metteva in piedi per il giorno. L'unico punto di svolta dell'alloggio era che sarebbe stato bello avere un piccolo frigo nella stanza per tenere acqua, ecc, c'era un sacco di spazio per avere uno. Sarebbe stato bello avere un divano per guardare la TV la sera, perché le sedie non erano confortevoli per sedersi per un po', e le pareti erano molto sottili, mentre altri rumori in camera potevano essere sentiti anche. C'è anche un Toby Inn vicino alla porta che fa davvero bella cibo e diverse alghe.
