Il Grand Hotel offre un'ottima posizione, rendendolo una scelta conveniente per esplorare la città. Le strutture sono di top-notch, offrendo una miscela di lusso e comfort che si aspetta da un prestigioso istituto. Tuttavia, il servizio è diminuito di quanto si aspettava, soprattutto considerando il suo rating di cinque stelle, ma il livello di servizio fornito è stato incoerente, anche se può essere dovuto alla stagione turistica occupata. In particolare, i portatori e i portatori hanno lasciato molto da desiderare, con alcune interazioni particolarmente povere, che si è notevolmente detratta dall'esperienza generale, poiché non si prevede che tali questioni siano affrontate in un hotel di questo calibro. Our first visit to the Milner although it was originally named the principal when booked… for the nearly £220 for the 1 night stay….I was expecting utter grandeur… disappointing… yes the lounge area on the ground floor was lovely, the staff in Peaches restaurant for breakfast were warm and welcoming with a lovely breakfast. The room (323) wasn’t ready for 3pm check…. After a 2nd radio call out to house keeping our room was ready..We were eager to see our room, well it was small for what I was expecting as we hadn’t booked a smaller urban room…. the wallpaper in the upper corner of the room and damp stain needs attention and were not what I was hoping for , considering the price. A lovely spacious shower bathroom lifted my dissatisfied feeling…… but we were really expecting more for the money we paid, for our first trip to York together. The Milner is ideally located for the train station and a short walk takes you into the lovely historic York sites and shops…

We come every year between Xmas and new year for a short break and this year, even as we stepped through the front doors noticed a difference. Guests now have to pay to park at the hotel (£7.99 a night), the coffees at breakfast is no longer brought to the table, and no freshly made omelettes anymore! Rooms are not maintained each day by housekeeping, so after two nights we had to approach reception to ask them to empty our bins and replenish teas/coffees in the room. Front desk staff were friendly though staff at the leisure centre less so- quite abrupt in their manner! While we love it here for convenience we might look at alternative hotels in York next year!

Country house style and first class attention to detail and service. If you are looking for a hotel in York(10min by taxi to centre), dont look any further.. A traditionally decorated drawing room for drinks before dinner which was excellent too… We stayed in a beautiful room 1 overlooking the main lawn and cedar tree, the bathroom was small but very adequate. Highly recommend..

Hedley House is close to the train station, city centre and local attractions which makes it an ideal locations to stay in York. From the warmest welcome all staff were excellent and accommodating. Rooms were clean and very peaceful. Lovely full English breakfast. We booked an evening meal which was really good and well priced. There is a lovely garden which is a nice place to start the day with a cup of tea, whilst we plan the day. Being able to leave the luggage and collect well after check out meant we got to spend more time in wonderful York. This was our fist visit to York, when we return we will definitely be staying here again, the service could not have been better.

Con un hotel di progettazione, molto soddisfatto!Molto Yok (ha un senso di inondazione di York ** in qualsiasi momento) Se si usa un elettrone, si spacca, è del tutto vecchio.La stanza è una grande stanza 🔑, non una carta di camera, è così caratteristica!! Non è grande nella stanza. Ci sono macchina per caffè, ci sono caldi serbatoi, non c'è aria condizionata, ma ci sono piccoli serbatoi (non è necessario aprire l'aria condizionata, la serata è sposata) e un disco nero e un cappuccio di dentifricio blu!!!! Non c'è molto da fare intorno. Si può fare un auto per la strada di carne e ossa 5-6 , è ancora conveniente ～

I held my ‘significant’ birthday party at the Parsonage and it was fabulous. I had the Crystal Suite which was perfect for my 40+ guests with a 6 piece live band and dance floor. All of the planning and preparation was seamless, with the team being flexible, efficient and helpful. We had 15 bedrooms, at a special rate, for guests who wanted to stay over. The team couldn’t do enough for us on the night. The food was delicious and all the guests complimented it. The service was both friendly and efficient. We had an absolutely top night and the whole event was great value for the quality we received. I’d heartily recommend for an event.
