Harmony House Boutique B&B

We went for a girls lunch today in the lovely tea room. Lovely ambience. Attentive staff. The soup and cakes were amazing! Would fully recommended this beautiful tea shop/ cafe on the outskirts of York for a welcome stop off or somewhere to go for refreshments or lunch with friends, family, colleagues. We will be back!

My husband and I have just spent 2 nights at Harmony House for our wedding anniversary. The guest house is spectacular, we stayed in Evergreen room which is so cosy and comfortable with a stunning view across the green. The bathroom is lovely, and exceptionally clean. A lovely gesture was the bottles of water in the fridge, and hand-made chocolate fudge! Adele is a brilliant host, nothing is too much trouble and the breakfast was amazing and so tasty. We used the park and ride service into York, which is only 10 mins away. After 2 busy days it was so nice to return to Harmony House amid the peace and tranquility of the surroundings, and a very restful nights sleep. Thankyou so much, Adele, and we will definitely return when we are next your way!

We stayed here for two nights, what a fantastic place. The hotel isnt too far away from the park and ride if you want to use that to go in to York, the bus takes about 10/15 so wasn't long at all. On arrival we was welcomed with fresh tea and coffee and sweet treats, Hilary was very knowledgeable and offered us lots of advice on parking and places to visit. Our room was a nice size, very clean and perfect for us, tea and coffee facilities left in the were fantastic especially as it wasn't the little milk pots that I tend to run out of after a couple of cups of tea, we especially liked the fact that there was a mini fridge room so we could have cooled bottle, The bathroom was spotless with a large shower. I loved the decor of the room and fell in love the two seater in the room, this was so pretty. The breakfast at harmony house were fantastic, there was a great selection of fruit juices, cereals, fruit and pastries to help yourself to and cooked breakfasts, omelettes also available. We both had cooked breakfasts on both mornings - the scrambled eggs were amazing. Both Phil and Hilary are fantastic hosts and we will be returning in the future.

What a stunning house! Tasteful and elegant decor throughout with homely features. Adele is the perfect host; attentive yet not overbearing and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious and couldn’t be faulted. The room was spotless with plenty of refreshments and little treats left for us to enjoy. We will definitely come back and highly recommend it. Just stopped 2 nights in November. Lovely bed and breakfast. We stopped in the Poppy room. Adele was lovely and could not do enough. Place was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was awesome in the Garden Room. Full English one day and eggs Benedict the next day. Tasted lovely. Toast too and preserves if you wish but we were stuffed. Room had an en-suite, again spotless, hairdryer for the missus, tea and coffee and a little fridge with some milk and locally sourced biscuits and handmade chocolates. That’s how to do a bed and breakfast. Great location. About 15 mins to park and ride into York.

Lovely two night stay at Harmony House B&B in the fabulous Great Burnet room. with a walk in shower, and oh so comfy bed. Such wonderful views to wake up to. Tea and coffee milk and a little treat (which i saved then left behind). Adele was the perfect host, nothing too much trouble and the breakfast was amazing, just right to set us up for the day.
