Hotel in zona GTS Adventure, York

Non sono uno che scrive cattive recensioni, ma questo posto ha davvero bisogno di un'analisi! Ho andato con il mio partner per il suo compleanno a un posto che abbiamo entrambi concordato sembrava grande, ma le foto sono molto ingannevoli. Il letto era inconfortabile e non ci sono riusciti a dormire, per non parlare del fatto che era su ruote e con un pannello rotto che il personale era a conoscenza, il bagno era molto piccolo e la doccia è inferiore a 6 ft al suo massimo, i cowwebs sono stati visto in l'angolo del mio partner e questo era ”La camera migliore” Il ricevitore ha cercato di correggere i problemi che abbiamo avuto con quella stanza e ci hanno dato un'altra stanza (aperta la stanza sbagliata dove qualcuno dormiva, Pensando che fosse vuoto) e poi ci portò alla stanza vuota, questa stanza era piccola e aveva un formaggio nell'angolo e la parte peggiore era la chiusura della porta non sarebbe stata chiusa correttamente!! Fatica e molto deluso abbiamo deciso di lasciare un giorno prima! Rimasi al Marriot, che avremmo dovuto fare in primo luogo, abbiamo perso un giorno di parcheggio e non abbiamo rimborsato per quel giorno o il secondo giorno non ci siamo rimasti. Dopo averli postati, non ho avuto risposta, anche se hanno risposto alle email che ho inviato quando ho prenotato, chiedendo di maschere di faccia e controllando in tempo. Molto poco professionale e l'unico posto che ho voluto lasciare presto. Se questo posto dovesse rispondere al mio email, avrebbe avuto un punto di più, ma purtroppo è tutto cattivo. Stai lontano da lì.

Recentemente sono rimasto qui per qualche notte con il mio partner. L'hotel è bello e il personale è stato così utile. Avevamo prenotato una delle piccole camere, ma ci siamo migliorati quando ci siamo arrivati. C'è un piccolo pantello con tutti i tipi di benedizioni che puoi aiutare. E'un passo di 2 minuti al centro di York, che è una città così bella. I mercati di Natale hanno appena iniziato, ma non si è sentito troppo occupato. Abbiamo mangiato molto, ci sono molti bar e pub, e saremmo certamente tornati.

I would definitely stay at Georgian House again if I'm ever in York! I had a good experience. I was able to check-in early at 1:00 pm (thank you!). The room was small but completely adequate for me as a solo traveler. The prosecco and cookies were a nice room addition. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The location is great -- about 5 minutes' walk to the cathedral and 15 minutes' walk to the train station. My only negative is that the shower didn't drain properly so I was showering in standing water. Oh and I had put ”do not disturb” on my door and the cleaner came in one day anyway.

The location is superb and is within a mile from the Train station. The service of the crew is wonderful (person who served us was Ms Pip). Hotel room is spacious. Breakfast is a spread! Enjoyed the stay very much, will highly recommend to anyone who comes to York.

L'hotel superava la nostra aspettativa di sotto la porta voyeurismo. Ho potuto vedere la mia ragazza cambiata guardando sotto la porta della stanza dell'hotel, dalla strada pubblica. Le tende erano molte e bagnate. La stanza era grande. Il letto era comodo. Si diceva che la direzione dell'hotel ci avrebbe guardati al nostro prossimo viaggio, ma non so perché non ci siamo guardati al primo posto. Perché ci sarebbe tornato? 🤷🏽♂️

A parte il controllo in corso che era veloce e il controllo in agente era proattivo, altri servizi erano una delusione, le tovaglie della stanza non sono state adeguatamente sostituite e quando ho chiesto un buco di ghiaccio per un sanguinamento nasale, ho dovuto andare al lobby Mi ha detto il ricevitore che devo andare al lobby, perché il contatore sarebbe stato disarmato nonostante sapesse che ho sanguinato il naso.

Nothing to complain about. Rooms were clean, reception were friendly. Easy to get to from the train station. Walking distance to everything I needed. I would stay here again if I came back to York as it was a nice hotel for the price. Classic Travelodge experience

Awful stay, sleep deprived because we had a faulty fire alarm screaming alarms into our ears and the last night and following day were completely ruined for us negating the whole point of a short two day city break. Fire alarm was faulty and repeatedly went off during the night, screeching into your ears starting at 10 pm, if that doesn’t sound like fun to you, avoid, especially as the issue wasn’t fixed when we left. Alarm issues started on Sunday morning but didn't seem to be passed onto staff on Sunday evening and were not dealt with or forwarded. Fire alarm went off on Sunday night at 10pm which should have registered a major issue but rather than deal with it, roomzzz just left it. I rang the member of staff on duty and told him it needed silencing due to him saying it was a faulty sensor and i informed him it had gone off before that day of which he was not aware. He simply wasn't trained to do it or trained in escalation and simply left it, having already disturbed everyone at 10pm on a Sunday night which is ultimately managements fault for not making sure staff understood what to do in emergency situations. Faulty alarm then predictably woke everybody up at 2am which i told the member of staff the first time we didn’t want to be woken up again, then at half 2 and then it went off again a few times when the staff member finally decided to get the manager out of bed, which should have happened when the issue first appeared on Sunday morning or at the very least sorted at 10pm when it went off at 10pm Sunday evening. To top it off it went off again Monday morning at 11am. The Manager was nice but full of the usual excuses which i just were not buying, she said it could have been handled better but it was handled at all, it was amateur at roomzzz York. Its likely still faulty as i type this due to the alarm company clearly not being called out. She said there was not a lot that could be done because it’s the fire alarm which is just…a lie, the zone or faulty sensor should have been isolated on the system. Again lack of knowledge on what to do from management. To top it off we had someone hammering away on Monday morning at 11 am, clearly nobody communicates who is in what rooms. Other than that the stay was standard though not to the quality we had when we visited the Chester roomzzz aparthotel. TV was faulty when we booked in which was a minor inconvenience but nothing compared to having screeching faulty fire alarms shocking you out of bed. Awful experience and we rushed home due to been knackered because my partner couldn’t get back to sleep, rather than enjoying the day out in York.

Lo consiglierei a chiunque volesse rimanere a York. Meno di 10 minuti a piedi dalle mura della città. Le camere sono sopra un pub che serve cibo. Excelente prezzo rispetto agli altri. Camere ben designate. Il personale è stato amichevole e utile. Parcheggio gratuito anche che la maggior parte degli altri non offre!
