Hotel in zona Tsunashima Railway Station, Yokohama

Questo hotel è stato una sorpresa. Lobby molto elegante e le camere sono state bello piccolo. Molti posti a mangiare molto bello. 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione Shin Yokohama a est. Con il JR passa solo saltare sulla Shinkansen alla stazione di Tokyo e su Akihabara per giochi e giocattoli.

Location is excellent. 3 mins walk to JR station. The family mart is just at the entrance. I'm impressed that you can even borrow a hair straightener and then return ik a box at the same place. Staff are super polite and helpful. Highly recommended!

We did have an enjoyable stay at this hotel. Around 8 minutes' walk (with luggage in hand) from/to metro (Shin Takashima station). Environment tranquil yet location convenient - just app. 15 minutes' walk to downtown area like the Mark IS, Landmark Tower, etc. where a lot of shops and eateries can be found. Staff at the reception are very courteous and helpful. Smart in answering questions from us. Room size is perfectly good. Shower is good given water flow is strong and water is hot enough. Toiletries are sufficient. With the two reading lamps on, the room is brightly lit (although it would seem perfect if there could be one or two more light bulbs on the ceiling). Breakfast is good. Staff from the kitchen and the restaurant are seen to be working meticulously and attending to the details to make sure that every corner is clean and hygienic, and that the food is timely refilled. An adequate variety of food and drinks, really exceeding our expectations. Love to stay at this hotel again in future visits to Yokohama.

I recently stayed at this hotel for a quick one-night getaway, and it was a delightful experience. 26th – 29th August 2023 Yokohama, Japan Mitsui Garden Hotel, Yokohama Some random thoughts / comments regarding our stay as they spring up: - Taxi arrives at G/F, no porter service but guests have to wheel luggage to 20/F to check in - ultra modern hotel, bright & airy, spacious lobby and so new – freshly opened in mid May 2023 - push through glass doors to fully exposed outdoor lounge with sofas and low coffee tables to sit and chill while enjoying a wide stretch of city view through wide glass panels - minimalism theme throughout the reception, lobby and extended to the rooms with clean, light beech minimalistic design - check in smooth and staff even though not the most conversant in English, pose no barriers in carrying out simple conversation - guests are to collect toiletries at a small nook beside the check in desk before heading up to the room--- choice of individually wrapped razor ; toothbrush+ paste ; shower cap; vanity set, comb, Q-tips to put inside a white zip-bloc to bring along to the room for own consumption - all toiletries are displayed bare for guests to take at liberty and every guest feels at ease to take what is needed without any staff there to peep over their shoulder—very generous hotel policy indeed - two bottles of water , tea sachets and drip coffee replenished daily - iron + ironing board provided upon request - the entire hotel, i.e. everywhere smells fresh, everywhere looks bright and clean - bedding and towels all white, fluffy and clean - slippers provided - USB and sockets all well positioned in the room - Telly available and a bottle of room freshener spray provided - shower & bathtub in one enclosed area to save space which in fact is a good and efficient idea to have everything confined to one space - very powerful shower with stable temperature that is easy to adjust - shower area completely watertight so can fully enjoy a nice relaxing shower after a long day and no need to mop the spills afterwards - body gel, shampoo + conditioner all in three separate commercial bottles with dispenser firmly installed onto the wall - big clean panes in room for a nice view overlooking the city and partial harbour - furniture in room is all clean and sofa not sunken, which is one of the advantages of a new hotel - room is not very big but very comfy because everything is very functional while minimalist design gives a contemporary, fuss-free vibe - spacious , bright and clean lobby on 20/F where there is an auto-play piano and there are sofas + reading floor lamps all around the piano, so guests are free to sit and relax with a book or just enjoy the piano when it auto plays at stipulated times - an intimate bar on the other side of the lobby overlooking the pool, but closes before 12am - a gym + pool also on lobby level - a restaurant on lobby floor that serves breakfast - “ Lawsons Convenience Store “ on 2/F, 7-11 and family Mart also close by - Yokohama Cosmo World and Marine Park at walkable distances - Safe, c

Il Pier Yokohama Intercontinentale 8 fa parte del complesso terminale di crociera ”Yokohama Hammerhead”. Se si conosce il Museo di Cup Noodle, è dietro di esso. È anche a 10 minuti a piedi dall'altro Intercontinentale: Yokohama Grand. Le stazioni più vicine per entrambi questi hotel sono la stazione Minatomirai sulla linea Minatomirai. Se si arriva per JR, la stazione di chiusura è Sakuragi-cho sulla linea Keihin-Touhoku e da lì circa 15-20 minuti a piedi a Yokohama Grand e un altro 10 minuti a Pier 8. Da Hammerhead si può vedere chiaramente l'iconico fine formato Intercontinentale Yokohama Grand. È in una buona posizione con negozi e ristoranti a Yokohama Hammerhead, Marine & Walk e il famoso magazzino di Red Brick. L'hotel è un edificio rettangolare con una zona aperta nel centro (giardino) dell'edificio dal livello 3. Le camere ”al di fuori” sono le camere della città e della baia Visualizza, mentre le camere ”all'interno” sono le camere del Giardino Visualizza. È anche un giardino al tetto dove si dispone di una grande vista sulla baia e si può semplicemente sedersi e rilassarsi nel sole. camere sorprendenti. Sicuramente rimanga e lo consiglio molto.

Excellent hotel, Great helpful staff. The only thing negative I can say , the room was very small, I'm sure they have bigger rooms, maybe I did not notice the room size when I booked. Breakfast was excellent, even though we were late after 9 AM which we did not realize that in Japan most of the places breakfast ends at 9AM, not like in USA 10AM The location is the best, right next to the River and walking distance to the Gondola the Ferris wheel. The view from the breakfast room is awesome, over looking all the gorgeous beauty. Enjoy Yokohama. I loved this City.

This hotel is unexpected nice and convenient. She is located next to the exit of the train station (日本大通站). Good for families as they have washing machines and dryers at a cost (costs Yen 400 for washing and Yen 100 for drying), guest rooms are spacious and equipped with a microwave. I also like their room amenities, including body wash and hand wash. If you prefer less busy area, but accessible, this hotel definitely is a good choice. Overall, I would rate this hotel with 4 stars out of 5.

This hotel is conveniently located near Chinatown, making it ideal for a half-day visit there, with another half-day available for sightseeing in the city. The hotel is clean, and the room sizes are reasonable for the price. It comes highly recommended for a transitional stay.
