Jasper Gates Resort

We're not much of an RV family as we prefer quiet and remote places but for our Jasper visit that was just not possible. We were very happy with this property. There is of course the usual side by side accommodations but the property has a lot of trees and it still felt rural. The staff were amazingly nice but I would like to point out a few things that were "off". In the women's bathroom there was no toilet paper or soap for the whole weekend and the garbage cans were overflowing and not changed for the 4 nights we were there. Also, we purchased firewood each night and the size of the bundle was generous but it wouldn't burn worth a Sh**. It was super dry but obviously soaked in a fire retardant, either on purpose or harvested from an area that was. Every other camper that bought wood had the same problem while we were there. Nothing but smoking choking campfires. If we were forced to camp at an RV site again I would be super happy to be at one that was set up like this one.

Good place, perfect location for our needs, close to Miette hot springs. Run very efficiently by the team. Nothing too much trouble. Clean tidy, with tea/coffee available in room and kitchenette. Had everything we required. Would stop again.

Spent May Long in site 81 and can’t wait to return! This was our first full service camp trip and when our usual sites in Jasper were booked we decided to try this campground. We absolutely love it! So well cared for, extremely friendly resort staff, met great people, enjoyed the adjoining Folding mountain brewery, had a great climb right from our site, able to purchase forgotten necessities at the resort store,very clean updated facilities, level clean site. We were amazed with all this campground had to offer. We are hopeful to bring more of our family now that we have seen the great options available for non-rv owning family members. The rv rentals look fantastic, the cabins are beautiful and the hotel is so much more than you would expect at a camping resort! Cant say enough about this beautiful camping Resort!

Three days we were in September 2023 in this motel, which is also a large RV - resort. Directly in front of the front door, the highway passes, at this point you can drive 110 km / h, I had booked the room more than a year ago and asked for a room back to the road. Fortunately, this wish was granted and we were very satisfied with the quiet at night. You can hear the highway a little there too, but it doesn't bother much. The room was rustically furnished and made a very new impression. The room and also the bathroom were very clean, we had toaster, coffee maker, kettle and microwave. We were very satisfied with the stay, but you have to know that there is internet only at the office and not in the rooms. This did not bother us and we can highly recommend this resort. The next town is Hinton, about 17 km away, there is not only Wal-Mart and Safeway, but also many restaurants. Directly at the motel is also a brewery, but we were not there to eat.

We stayed in the hotel and it was great! Great value! Comfortable, spacious rooms! Clean and safe! The grounds were amazing! Plenty of places to sit throughout and wonderful places and activities for kids! Highly recommend! We will be back!

This campground was amazing! The manager Sharmon was an amazing host! If you're ever up in the Jasper national park area check this place out. If we visit again we would definitely stay at this campground. Our kids made so many friends here and made so many memories!

Potential scam on credit card..be aware! We didn't stay at the RV park so cancelled and was refunded.no problems couldn't fault it. By chance today (over a weekweeks later) I looked at my credit card transactions and saw they had debited my account again for a similar amount. I contacted them and was sent an auto generated email that I had been refunded..no explanation or apology..very odd if this was a genuine mistake so watch your card statement carefully if staying here!Photo evidence attached. I booked from UK so may bill is in pounds.

Super nice place to stay; quiet; easy to find past park gates heading towards Hinton. Friendly staff; Huge, clean motel style room (cabins also available for families....) Clean grounds, fire pits.... Comfy beds, clean bathroom. Very handy in room minifridge, micro & coffee machine. Great value for price paid. Would def stay here again; recommend to others.

Planning for a long weekend family trip for Sunday night, emailed *************************** to see if they could accommodate us. They continently let us book 3 rooms as it appears they have bookings on Saturday night. Was informed every other room was a 3 night minimum for the long weekend despite not being posted anywhere on their website and I went through the booking process online for 1 night with the exception of my credit card. When questioned what the difference was- online vs directly through them, I was informed that “you will still be charged for 3 nights if you book it online for 1 night”. I’m completely shocked that they would allow you to book 1 night but charge you for 3 without your knowledge or consent and thought others should be aware too.
