Adobe Resort

호텔은 다소 오래된듯하나, 수영장 피트니스 세탁실 등 시설이 잘 갖추어져 있고 태평양 바로 옆에 위치하여 전망 최고. 객실도 매우 넓고, 직원들도 친철.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Adobe resort. They actually upgraded our room to Ocean view which was a nice touch as they were painting the non-ocean view hallway rooms. The resort is an older resort but on a very large piece of property in yachats which is a very cute little town with lots of things to do and we really enjoyed the Kate perpetua hike. The front desk gave us a printout of some of the hikes and were very friendly and did have coffee and tea available in the lobby. The pool, hot tub and kiddie pool and sauna were wonderful as they were very large and there was usually no one there which was great for our kids to throw a ball around in the pool. Overall our kids said they had amazing time and would come back again and I would highly recommend. Especially as the price point was so good compared to other hotels along the coast that were not even on the ocean. The interior of the actual rooms also were recently done and were very beautiful. Overall, I would definitely come back 🙂

I went down to see the king tide waves and the Adobe was the perfect location! The restaurant/bar windows offered a breathtaking view of the waves. We had an ocean view with balcony which is great when you need a dose of the salty sea air! Highly recommend!!!

We have stayed at the Adobe several times over the past 10 years or so. The ocean view is wonderful. Sadly, however, the hotel has fallen into great disrepair and we will not be going there again unless we hear they have done a major update. Everything was "shoddy" in our room. The metal baseboard heater was rusty and missing paint. The walls, which they had painted white over the lovely knotty pine has a high number of chips and scrapes. It appears they tried to paint over some of them but unfortunately used the wrong paint as the "semi-gloss" or "matte" finish is not the same and so the "repairs" show badly. Of greater concern is the black mold in the bathroom sink. I could smell it first, and then realized there is black mold all along the "lip" of the sink and in and around the overflow. On the deck there is a wide area of white paint oversprayed on the redwood deck, which needs new redwood stain; but stain won't cover this amount of white oversprayed paint. The plastic deck chairs are cheap and blew off the deck several times. There should be nicer chairs and a little table to put drinks/snacks on would be nice. The bathroom has a toilet paper holder that is falling off the wall on one side. It is gold colored, but there are 3 other colors of metal fixtures throughout the bathroom, shiny chrome, brushed nichel, dark burnished brown, and gold. It looks pretty junky. The staff was very nice. There are a couple of other hotels in the area we will be checking out for our next stay.

I stayed in a ground floor room that led straight out to the ocean a.nd enjoying walking right out and watching the waves. There is a porch and chairs outside the unit. The bed was comfortable, everything nice and clean in the room I had two meals at the restaurant and was pleased with the quality

It was all good except I would like a little less prices on the lounge menu and a few more bar type appetizers. Otherwise everything was great, we enjoy our room so close to the ocean. Nice to hear the waves from your room
