"For a camping experience this hotel is perfect, wild enough but comfortable. The staff are helpful and the animals are very friendly. Food is also good especially the BBQ set where we get to DIY just outside our tent. However, for the price point, I’d the bathroom area to be tidier, especially the sink. The number of dead bugs and old spider webs hanging in the corners is a bit much. The sheet also has a bit stain."

"The value for money here is extremely poor compared to similar guesthouses. It might be an option if you're on a road trip and simply need a place to stay by the lake, but *do not* have any high expectations for the facilities. The bathroom and shower had hundreds of mosquitoes and other insects. There's no lakeside path, and the electric carts at the front desk don't offer any touring services, not even for a fee. If you want to explore beyond the immediate vicinity, you're forced to drive your own car around the outer perimeter, which severely limits activities and walkability. Fortunately, the local staff were all very friendly and made a great effort to help resolve problems. However, it's quite irresponsible of the owner to open for business before completing basic infrastructure and getting the service amenities properly set up."

"This guesthouse was recommended by a friend, and it was only by staying here that I discovered Laoli Lake. When I arrived, I realized why it's called the 'Prairie Aranya' – probably because of that 'lonely theater' vibe. Honestly, it doesn't even need to piggyback on Aranya's fame; this place is worth a special trip all on its own. **Room Facilities:** We stayed in Building 2, a two-bedroom lake view suite. It was the closest unit to Laoli Lake, and we could watch the sunrise right from the bedroom. **Room View:** Absolutely stunning. Just pull back the curtains, and there's the lake view. **Service:** A WeChat service group was set up before our arrival, offering experiences like sheep herding and wood chopping. In the evening, a butler even came to light the fireplace and brought a complimentary sweet soup for bedtime – very thoughtful. Some of the facilities are open to the public, like the cafe and Zhenxing Academy (which looks like a giant flying saucer), but the accommodation area is private, which really contributes to the peaceful atmosphere. **Hygiene:** There were a few mosquitos and insects, but they didn't bite or cause any bother, which is understandable and acceptable given the natural environment. It was a truly wonderful one-day, one-night stay, highly recommended."
