THE MONK UNDER THE MOUNTAINS

What a wonderful hotel! We had a great time staying here, exploring this amazing part of Sichuan Province. The hotel itself was excellent - well situated, clean, with tasty breakfasts and lots of thoughtful touches. However, what really made the stay exceptional was the staff. Our hosts were very kind and thoughtful through out, gave us valuable advice, and helped organise transport to the various parks nearby (often driving us themselves). Nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this region in general and this hotel in particular to anyone looking for a great outdoor holiday!

Staffs make our trip so wonderful!!! (Best service, Clean room, Good location) Don’t hesitate to book this hotel, if you are looking for the friendly place. It is an experience beyond an ordinary stay They are able to communicate in English, and very well take care to customers. I was high altitude sickness they gave me for Oxigen at my first day which was really helpful. They always provided car services or called the taxi pick-up us to tourist spots and restaurants where we want to go!! Recommended the amazing restaurant and interesting places near by. Last day, I booked the bus to chengdu but I can’t contact the drivers, they helped us to manage everything (dropped us to bus station, called the driver and waited with us to ensure we get on the bus safely!!) Thank you very much for the warmest welcome 🤗

Superb stay! Great location near the start of each hike, but most importantly staying here felt like home especially coming back after a long day of hike (we could even soak our feet in hot bath). I also want to commend the guy working there who is so kind and helpful with everything we needed. He really went above and beyond. 100/100 recommend!

Excellent accommodation with VERY GOOD HOST

The hotel staff was very kind, especially xiaotian. She fetched us to and from the hotel when we arrived and were leaving, as well as to shuangqiao valley. When we arrived, they also made us a delicious bowl of noodles with their homemade chilli sauce. Finally, the view from the hotel was also very beautiful and we could see the mountains. We are super grateful to Xiaotian and the team ❤️

It was such a pleasant stay at this homestay. It felt like home away from home. The staff Ms. Tien was very friendly and helpful and she speaks decent English. The facility was beyond my expectations, the bed was so comfy, the view from the room was great and decoration was very nice. I really enjoyed staying here and I definitely will stay here again when my next visit to Siguniangshan.
